Sprinkler system running again

Fixed my sprinkler system. The old Toro jar top valve had a torn diaphragm and was so old that I couldn't find the replacement diaphragm anywhere. That would've been a lot easier to replace. I had to cut some PVC and make a few runs out to the hardware store to find the right connectors, but it works great.

No re-pipe required

So happy that this model was still around after 20 years. Able to replace the guts into the existing valve body in about five minutes. Fit perfectly.

Built To Handle Higher Pressures

I live in an area where the water pressure is over 100psi and I have long runs to the irrigation valves. The end result is a lot of pounding and frequent valve failures. These valves are tougher than most that are rated at 100 or 125psi and easy to service. Highly recommended.

Dropped the guts into a 30 year old Toro valve just fine

Solenoid died on a 30 year old version of the same valve and so the water was stuck on. Shockingly, all the parts (minus the screw lid) fit on 1for1 for the old valve to this new one. Reused the old housing (duh) and the screw lid and I was back in business. Haven't tested the flow restrictor out, but seems like it could come in handy.
