Perfect day pack
This bag was the perfect size for our trip to Italy. Held everything we needed for the day. Small water bottle, maps, money, phone, hat, snacks and rain jacket. The shoulder strap is wide and cushioned. Pockets are easy to access. Tha base is nice and wide, but not too wide. Well worth the money.

It's ok not heavy duty though
I just used this sling almost exclusively, 24/7 on a trip to the middle east. I like the theft proof design for traveling the narrow streets of ancient cities where peddlers and pickpockets love to trap you or swindle you. Nothing got stolen out of this bag. I did do the pen test before I left. The two pockets with security features could not be broken into with a ballpoint pen, but the pocket toward my back with no security features could easily be broken into with a ballpoint pen pressed on the zipper teeth. Why they don't just add a little theft proofing to that pocket too, I don't know. I think the most disappointing thing is that the stitching on the zipper for the main compartment has started to come undone even before the end of my trip. Now... I loaded this thing daily... Bottles of water, SLR digital camera and extra lens, money, sunglasses, and other stuff for day trips. So, it wasn't light... But I was disappointed to see a week into it and the zipper tape is pulling away from the main fabric. I can sew it and fix it if I want, but I just feel like for the price I paid, it should have held up better. There may be a warranty I could utilize. Haven't gotten that far because jetlag is a killer. Overall, if you don't plan on carrying a lot in it, it would probably hold up fine. You know what would make this case even better.... A cell phone pouch on the front strap.

The best you can get, maybe. ***UPDATE***
I bought a Travelon bag 5 years ago and I think it was the predecessor to this. It finally fell apart hence this purchase. What I like with the new bag is that they fixed the weak spots but it became less useful with its refinement, I think. The new bag is more specific and I think that's its flaw. It's perfect for just enough whereas the previous allowed you to exceed that. The old and new bag fits an XPS 9350 and just fits an HP Envy 13-ba0xxx. While this new bag does have a tablet/padded pocket it does fit these laptops but you're better off placing it in the larger pocket and other things in the smaller padded pocket. It works for me and I would buy it again but the next version should maybe be a smidge larger, and more square, to fully accommodate these 13" sized laptops fully in the padded pocket. The back sleeved pocket I find is for items you get out frequently, inner compartment pockets are less so and the outermost pocket is for items you seldom need to get out; obviously the main compartment would hold something like a laptop - easily grabbable, rather than searching for something. If you EDC more than just a few things, this size will not be for you, however if you're a minimalist it may just be the perfect bag. ***UPDATE*** After a few weeks, the bag stretched enough to "comfortably-ish" fit the above laptop sizes in the padded pocket; where as before the edges were pressing against the zippers. The initial comments still stand but I'd like to note that with time the bag will settle in *some*. ***UPDATE*** Fits a MacBook Air 13 (pre-M2). After almost two years, the small inside zippered pocket tore. Quite disappointing but will attempt to sow in a new pocket, otherwise it may be my last Travelon bag. Their diverse catalog makes me wonder if they’re not focusing as much on long-term durability and instead more on idea of peace of mind.

A great, well-made product, could be slightly larger!
Excellent quality product, my review for this bag is similar to the Pac——325 vibe. I purchased this bag, it is a little too small for my needs, but I ended up keeping it because I was impressed by the quality of the construction and features. The bag is well-made, I would like to see it 3 inches larger in every direction, and use a lighter color material inside to see items easier. There’s no question that for the level of security and quality, this is a reasonable price for a product that should last with above average use. I would like to see an extra pocket with zippers, maybe one larger pocket, and a way to secure close the inside pouch for tablets, like a velcro flap. The Pac—-vibe 325 is more convenient to access when swung around because the zippers open on the side, the large compartment opens from the top like a backpack on this item. But all-in-all both of these products are in the same, high-quality class. This is absolutely a top-quality product that is well-designed, aesthetically pleasing and offers great security features- the closing mechanisms are easy to use. If you don’t need too big of a bag, I would recommend this purchase!

Size of bag is 10" off from actual
The description says: 19.5" x 16" x 4.25 — the actual measurement (and this is confirmed if you go to travelonbags.com for this bag) is 9.5" x 16" x 4.25". Clearly the "19" was a typo, I dont think they meant to mislead. Anyway, WAY smaller than what I was expecting. So if they correct it, I might amend my star-rating, because it's not a necessarily bad bag, just too small for my needs.

Secure but bulky
It's certainly well-built, but all of the theft-proof materials and hardware make the bag too heavy for its size. Besides, I wouldn't walk anywhere where I needed such a secure bag.

Nice bag… but is dark inside
The bag is definitely nice. Being able to switch shoulders is a plus as well. My only complaint is the interior is all black fabric. To me this makes it hard to see inside and find what you are looking for. I tied a flashlight to the inside, otherwise I really have trouble unless outside in the sun.

This is NOT what I paid for!
I have been away for a few weeks so when I arrived home and saw this pack that I ordered for my husband to carry his camera, I actually laughed! As you can see in the picture, what was supposed to be a bag measuring 19.5” x 16” with a 4.25” wide sling arrived measuring 16” x 11” x 2.5” sling. Besides the size issue the so-called travel safe were rather minimal. It does say Travelon on the front of the bag, but I am guessing that this is a knock-off. It is something a small child might use to carry their books to school, maybe. The price tag at $78.00 is a ridiculous rip-off. How do I get my money back?

Pas confortable, pas stable
Ne se place jamais confortablement. Glisse et se met à l’envers…! Par contre rien à dire coté rangement, c’est bien.
