Easy Five Stars

A stray cat started hanging around our neighborhood a while back. The cat will retreat if I try to approach him/her. Yet if I'm in the car, the cat will stare at me. She hangs around in storm drains on my street, is seen under cars in my driveway, in neighbors yards, on the street, etc. Seems happy being outside and doesn't want to be bothered, except does come around looking for food. So I've been putting out cat food---and when she knows I've been back in the house for a few minutes, she comes up the driveway, eats, and then leaves. The weather really started to get colder, so I decided to get this house and an insulated blanket to put inside of it. The quality of the materials is very satisfactory for what I paid. Assembly was pretty easy, and I'm not great at building stuff like this. But it went together easily----precision of where they drilled holes was solid----everything fit together well. I know the cat has gone in there for treats I've left inside the house. Not sure if she's stayed in there for any period of time, but I am pretty sure she knows it's an option if it gets too windy and cold. I put it against my house to keep it out of the wind and maybe pick up a little warmth. I put a different type of shelter on my back deck, where I have also seen this cat hanging around. So far, I've only noticed the cat around the house, not other animals in our neighborhood. I'm hoping this gives the cat a good option for shelter and so far, I believe that to be the case. Five stars, easily.
