Nice Vibrant Yellow. Holds up in Wash
Worked exactly as I hoped for. My shirt I dyed with this yellow and an orange dye also from Tulip turned out in nice bold colors. I've washed and worn my shirt a dozen times already and the color has stayed bright and vivid. *I did use soda ash as a pre-soak which helps the color set in the fabric*. This was actually a lot easier to use than I thought. The first time I used it I didn't read the instructions and I tried cutting the packet open and dumping the powder in my bottle. You can actually put the whole packet in the bottle and then add water. The packet dissolves - but do be careful that it is COMPLETELY dissolved before you try to use it or it can get on the fabric you are trying to dye and leave a gross plasticky feeling piece on your fabric if you run it though the dryer. The dye is also super easy to use. It can be done with cold water, so there is no fuss boiling dye and soaking your fabrics. After dying, just make sure you wrap your project in plastic wrap or a bag and let it sit wet with the dye for several hours so the dye can cure.

Lasting Color
I used this for shibori patterned pillow cases and to get deeper, more saturated color, I used all three dye packets in 8 ounces of water. Turned out awesome. The pillowcases have been through the wash once a week for several months and the color is still bright and saturated! The only issue was that the little "dissolveable" packets don't really dissolve well and if the undissolved parts get on your item it makes very dark color blotches. I recommend wearing DRY latex gloves, cutting the packets open over some newspaper, shaking the dye powder into your DRY dye bottle, then throwing the empty packet away along with the newspaper. If you do this while everything is dry the process is not messy. If your gloves or bottle are damp/wet, the packet will get sticky and make it difficult (and messy!) to get the dye powder out of the packet and into the dye bottle.

Easy to use
Made T-shirts with 10 grandkids. They all came out great! Bought the kit with the squirt bottles first so just bought extra dye

Useful to have backup dye for projects
These are just the additional dye packets, so make sure you have the squeeze bottle for this. It made sure we had enough dye in our most used colors, but was a bit cumbersome to pour into the already used dye container. I would definitely purchase again for our most-user colors.

Would rather just have the dye
It's much nicer to order the dye this way when i need more . I don't need the whole kit sometimes

Lot's of Product!
This tie dye is great! But this one is the refillable packets so if you don't have a bottle to use for the tie dye then you'll need to buy one. I still have tons of tie dye left and we made 12 shirts using yellow for some!

I didn’t realize these were dissolving bags until I ruined 2. You just put them in the bottle and fill with water. I attempted to empty the contents into a bottle, but a drop of water started to dissolve that packet. My fault.
