Awesome design, cheap execution and materials

Clever way to install shelves. The brackets on two out of the three shelves were out of square. I measured, drilled, installed the anchors and mounted the brackets only to find the shelf was noticeablt unlevel (about 3/16"). I measured, drilled and installed at a different spot thinking I messed up my measurements and the same thing happened. I checked my holes and they were level. I placed the shelf bracket on a table and it rocked indicating out of square. You can bend the brackets easy enough but I found it a better solution to measure, drill, insert anchor and mount the bracket with one screw and then level the bracket and shelf. Then, remove the shelf, mark your second hole and drill, insert anchor and screw. Obviously, these aren't the best quality shelves (for $20!!) but the design and a quick little workaround made these shelves worthy of a 4 star review.

Perfect as advertised.

Easy to install. Installed in 4 rooms as mount to hold small LED lamp as bkup for power outage. Looks elegant. Happy with it.

Look good, hang well, but couple missing items

They look and work as I expected. I bought two boxes of three shelves each. Oddly, each box was missing one (of three) set of screws and anchors, so I had to scrounge around in my tool room for others. Made it work but I wondered if it was more than a coincidence I was shorted a set in each box. Probably just factory packing error.

Super cute

Purchased 3 sets and I can’t get enough. It’s ideal for my home right between that space next to my kitchen and bathroom window as shown on my Pictures uploaded. Super cute because it’s tiny and catches your eye once you enter the room and people compliment on it.

Cute shelves, I did a different install

I ordered these cute little shelves for gaps in a gallery wall. I wanted them to place lightweight Lego blockheads on. I'm not a fan of the screws in the wall to install these as I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep these in this spot FOREVER, so I actually used command strips to hold the metal bars to the wall. I don't think it holds as tightly as if I had screwed the piece in place, but it works and I'm happy that I didn't have to put six screw holes in the wall.

Love them! Easy mod for toothbrush charger

Umbra Showcase Display Shelves, White - Love them!, 5 stars I was glad to stumble across these shelves on Amazon as I was looking for a way to tidy up the bathroom vanity. This is a wonderful solution for an electric toothbrush holder. I was pleased to see the inside of the shelf is hollow, just enough room to hide the cord of the toothbrush charger. I used a dremmel tool with a cutting wheel, set to lowest speed, to create 2 cord notches and then tucked all but the necessary cord inside the shelf. Gives a little more room on the vanity and hides the cord nicely. Hint: When cutting the notches, add about a 1/16" of extra depth because the bracket will take up a little bit of the notch opening. I used a dust mask when using the dremmel, dust created is very fine. Am looking for other potential uses for these shelves, still have one left from the pack of 3.

Good shelves

Umbra is a funny company. They make a lot of good stuff, and they make a decent amount of crap as well. The penguin mini soap dispenser I’ve owned two of, and both rusted like crazy working a week. They were just cheap and looked nice and I needed a dispenser. These shelves are a knock off of the IKEA LACK floating shelf but it’s not as sturdy. But it does what you need it to and is a cinch to install

Really well made shelves

In my opinion shelves are looking really good, but as you can probably see on the pictures I don't have any heavy items on them, I don't really know how they would act after longer period of time if they were pressed by something heavy, for me they do its job and look good. They seem to be pretty sturdy and well made. The only one bad thing which isn't really a manufacturing defect is that they are black and the dust is much more visible on them so you have to clean them more often, but If you want to have a black colour shelves you will have to accept it. Overall I fully recommend this product and I have tried 2 different shelves before and those were the cheapest and came out the best! Enjoy!

Well designed shelves.

Very easy to install and I love the packaging. Feels high quality and it’s hard to find shelves this small. Perfect for smaller figurines. You probably don’t need to anchor to a stud unless you’re placing a heavy object. A drywall anchor will do for lighter objects!

Such an amazing find! Highly recommend

These are the most amazing, handy (and adorable) little shelves ever. I've used them to organise my makeup and they're absolutely perfect. The packaging was really neat and tidy and they are so easy to install. Most floating shelves are quite awkward because you need to line up poles and screws and all sorts, but with these they just spring onto the little frame. And where they are so small it doesn't matter if you install them wonky as no one will be able to tell!! All floating shelves have a little bit of wobble if you put too much weight on them, like a diving board. But for what I needed these are perfect. I ordered 2 boxes (3 in each) but I'm going to order a load more because they're just so handy and brilliant and unique. Highly recommend!!

Good looking little shelf

This is my Third purchase. I use them to tidy up washing up staff in kitchen. Those shelves sit the side of sink tap. Looks great & feel space compare to they sit on the counter. A down side is the material, its not suitable for wet hence third purchase but looks great in my kitchen.
