Just didn’t work and made a huge mess to boot

I don’t know in what scenario this is a good design, but it wasn’t for making an 8” hole in my ceiling. It shredded the drywall and made a big mess. I also learned my ceiling was double-drywalled, and the blades aren’t long enough for that. I ended up having to use a drywall saw anyway. Too late to return.
