Widely-Applicable Ice Ball Press: Our ice ball presser kit can be an ideal choice for people keen on having a drink on the rocks. It can be applied to various places, including but not limited to bars, restaurants, drink stores, etc. And with its compact size (3.9 inches in diameter and 5.9 inches in height), you can also have one in your kitchen at home if there is a need. User-Friendly Accessories: Our ice ball presser comes with practical accessories - one clamp and a small plate are offered to you, bringing many conveniences to your ice ball shaping. You can place the plate under the presser kit to catch the water melted from the ice, and clip the ice sphere out with the clamp. Both of them are made of food-grade stainless steel. Food-Grade AL Material: Constructed of aircraft aluminum alloy, our ice ball press features high durability and lightweight. Besides, the external surface has been anodized, solving the defects of the Al alloy material perfectly, such as insufficient hardness and easy-to-wear. Thus, the expanded application scope and a prolonged service life can be assured with ease. Non-Skid 2-Piece Design: Our ice press kit for whiskey adopts a two-piece design, hassle-free to assemble and disassemble. Its surface is treated with a non-skid diamond-shaped texture, elegant in appearance and convenient to hold tight when separating the two pieces. Unlike making an ice sphere by pouring water into the mould, our ice ball maker can offer you slow-melting ice balls with higher hardness. You can place ice blocks (even in irregular shapes) between the two parts. Easily Get a 2.4" Ice Sphere: Our ice ball press can produce large ice spheres, 2.4 inches/60 mm in diameter, with the thermal conduction of aluminum. The top half will fall on the lower by gravity, and then a perfectly shaped ice ball is ready for you. The temperature of the ice ball presser becomes relatively low after an ice sphere is done, which will influence the shaping effect of the following ones. So before you make the next one, please wait for a moment until its temperature rises. Note : Please check the dimension and item weight of the product and confirm it fits your space.

Makes ice balls
My husband loves this. It makes nice ice balls quickly. Freezing the right size of ice took some trial and error.

Superior ice sphere!
Clear ice has become a bit of an obsession to show off to friends. I can make poorly shaped clear ice, but this takes it to a beautiful sphere which will elevate the presentation of any cocktail. I've found the best way to get a full sphere is to use appropriately sized ice to start. I make large ice in a double-walled stainless cup and it's a bit big for this maker, sometimes not fitting between the two posts. When that happens the maker struggles to melt the excess ice and takes a longer time. Smaller ice makes for a quick sphere, but ultimately the product was excellent for the price and I use it daily.

You get what you pay for
This was the cheapest one I found, but with freight to Finland well over 200€. This product category isn’t available locally. Anyhow, its quite light so you need to constantly warm it up with hot water between the spheres. Then it works ok. Spheres are a bit tricky to remove from the mold. Price/performance is acceptable. The most expensive ice press I found was 100% copper made, 1500$ so with tax, duties and freight well over 2000€. It is hard for me to believe, that it would procuce 10x better spheres for my modest home bar usage. So I’m quit happy with my purchase.

A Novelty But Not Useful
I used a small cooler to create clear ice large enough to create a iceball using the press. The first time, the press works fine and creates the clear ice ball. Water flows over the unit and into the tray. The tray fills up with water and needs to be emptied otherwise spills over. Second ice ball is much more difficult - the unit gets very cold from the first ice ball, so the second ice ball is very slow to press. If you want to impress your friends and willing to spend the money then buy. But if you want clear ice balls I've come to the conclusion the best way is to just create clear ice squares and chip away an ice ball like many professional bar tenders do. Takes some skill. Otherwise, just use your cheap plastic cooler to make clear ice and use square cubes which work great, particularly if you don't perfectly cut them. I've tried a few different ways to make clear ice and now realize the simple cooler method is best and don't need all the products that purport to make good clear ice.

Doesn’t create a complete sphere
I purchased this item not realizing it did not come with the ice molding trays. I still liked the quality of the product so I purchased multiple different trays but could not find any that ended up creating a complete sphere, the top and bottom of the cube always ended up being flat vs a full sphere. I reached out to vector’s customer service team asking to purchase the ice mold trays directly from them but they were very difficult and wouldn’t sell me the individual trays for the press so I ended up returning it.

I cannot find an ice mold that works with this.
This works great, but it does not come with an ice mold to make the cube and the size is larger than most molds. I still have not found a great mold that will work with this right. Please let me know if you find one because it otherwise works perfectly!

Easy to use
Makes perfect whiskey balls. Simple and easy to use and clean. A little pricey but worth it if you want a fancy ice ball in your drink!

Cool gift
I got this as a gift for my dad thinking it'll be a gift that he wouldn't get himself. And as true as that is, it is also a cool little trick to show off to guests coming over. Plus makes regular drinks look fancier. It is heavy but solid. Found that after many uses at once, it slowed the ice molding process but if you warm it in warm water that helps.
