The Victor Tin Cat Mouse Trap with Glue Boards was designed with convenience and maximum efficiency in mind. Each live trap can catch up to 30 mice per setting, allowing you to control large infestations effectively and quickly. Not only is it efficient, but the trap is also constructed with durable steel, allowing it to be used both indoors and outdoors. Each Victor Tin Cat Mouse Trap with Glue Boards come with two glue boards to making trapping easier and more convenient. The glue boards are pre-baited with a peanut butter scent to attract rodents and improve the chances of a catch. Once the mice step onto the glue board, the long-lasting glue will hold them securely in place until you wish to remove them. The live trap and glue boards are poison-free and non-toxic, making them a safe choice for use around people, food, and pets when used as directed. To remove mice from the glue boards, apply vegetable oil to the board and use the blunt end of a pencil to gently release the mouse. Once you’ve caught mice and removed them from the boards, check with your local laws to find a suitable location to release them back into the wild several miles from your home or business.

Never thought I’d need these. Cat thought otherwise!
We live in a well-built home with no way for mice to enter except through the door. No problems for 4 years until the cat decided leaving dead birds on my door step was not good enough! She brought in a live mouse, dropped it on the floor and went to her cat tree to take a nap! We tried conventional traps baited with peanut butter for a month with no luck. I researched clear, plastic traps but many of the reviews showed how mice had chewed through the plastic and escaped. Sticky traps are inhumane so I decided to try these. Baited them with peanut butter, chocolate chips and dry cat food. Placed one by stove, one in pantry. After a couple days, SUCCESS! Caught a little itty bitty mouse! Let it go in the woods. Unexpectedly caught another one! And then another! It seems the “gift” from my cat was pregnant and had her babies in my house during the month we were unable to catch her! Traps were easy to set, release our captures, clean and re-bait. My husband ( who sometimes hallucinates) swore he saw a mouse run into our closet twice, and another run into the spare bedroom. So, I bought two more. We check them every morning and night. So far, fingers crossed, no more mice but no hard evidence of more, either. The only downside - it is sometimes hard to see through the vents to see if there are any mice. Maybe it’s our older eyes, maybe it’s the lighting, maybe it’s just the little itty bitty mice. Overall, though, I would recommend or I wouldn’t have purchased two more. At least if my cat decides to gift me another mouse, we’re covered!

time will tell
I bought these as a way to trap some mice that have made their way into my attic. I have put two different type of traps up there to help get rid of them as fast as possible. I have already caught one in the other traps but so far nothing in this one. I like that you can catch one and release them someplace else. This is very easy to use. I was hoping to catch one in them by now since i have been using them for about a week now but nothing. I will keep it in the attic and continue to check on them. If anything changes i will update this review.

Working, albeit a bit slowly.
Mice wouldnt touch them at first. Put your bait in the very back of the ramp alongside whatever you want them to live off inside, and put maybe some peanut butter up the ramp. They'll come and go, but it makes them "trust" the trap and finally go inside after a while. Got four in two days in one trap; the other wasn't catching any, so I adjusted the bait and moved the trap. Now I can hear it has at least one. The only downsides I've found are that after a few mice are inside, others may not join them, and that the sounds they make in the trap (chewing, tapping) are very annoying, so you might want to empty them every day. I think these should be slightly less expensive for only two traps.

Catches and keeps mice
I have been using an old version of the Victor Tin Cat for over 40 years and it still works well. I wanted to expand the areas in which I am trapping mice so ordered new ones. I read the reviews of the Victor knock-offs as they are cheaper but in every case there were a number of reviews that stated the mice escaped. On my old one I have never had a case wherein the bait was eaten or there were droppings but no mice, so none have escaped. So far that has also been the case with the new traps, so Victor has apparently not changed the design of the trap mechanism, though the trap itself has been redesigned to be a little smaller and the top opens along the long edge rather than the short edge. So far I am happy with them, though the mice are not (though probably happier than they would be with snap traps).

They work
I got my traps, put peanut butter, chocolate chips, and a few pieces of cat food in them. Put in the basement. Within an hour there was a mouse in one. Less than 24 hours after setting these traps I had 4 mice in one. Drove 3 miles and released them into the woods! I recommend this product.

Solid Trap Catches Fat Mice
Well-made trap; we have used these for many years in our outbuildings. The ramps act like draw-bridges. As a mouse walks up either ramp, a door closes behind it and traps it inside. It has no choice but to go forward. The design works well for fat mice, but the stiffness of the ramps prevent a light-weight baby rodent from activating the downward motion that seals off its escape. Our tip for attracting more mice: In addition to putting smelly bait inside the trap, smear a dab of peanut butter or other nutty spread at the top of each ramp. This gives them even more incentive to walk up the ramp.

Loved the idea of being able to catch more than one
Maybe it scared the mice away .... 'cause I ain't caught a single one.

Poor construction
These new versions do not work at all. The older ones were much better. There is a thin pin that should slide right through the 'intake' portion but it does not, therefore the mice can escape quite easily.

Seria perfecta pero...
Seria perfecta si se pudiera ver facilmente si ya entro algun roedor, ese es el unico pero que le pongo ya que realmente me ha funcionado de maravilla.

Mouse stuck trying to get out
Easy to set up. Caught two mice couple nights apart. Both were stuck in the exit trying to escape. Had to use a stick to dislodge. Plus as others mentioned. Messy inside. I’ll stick with the victor mouse traps. Hasn’t been a better one yet.
