American made
American made by vikings!!!. Jk they are pricey for 1 drillbit. I bought a full set that have step tips (idk wtf it's really called)..those work great everyday ,so I bought this..11/16 bit. It chipped about 30 sec into my hole so I stopped. Filed a claim cuz for 40+ $...it better drill me a hole!!! Two days later, the new one came in the mail ! Great customer service. Maybe I got a dud...anyways..I'll try the new one on the next gooseneck hitch install I do at work. These are used daily...not diy use. No doubt they will last a long time if all you do is honey do's

Works well
This worked well on the first job -drilling a larger hole on each side of a bike rack that goes into my pickup’s receiver.

Not sure about this, read on
It did not last very long. But. We were drilling through a forklift fork. It may last a lot better in other materials. Kinda my reason for 4 stars.

Good product
Good quality drill bit, albeit expensive. I needed something better than run of the mill home depot type. It works.

Good product
Works as advertised - just use low speed & plenty of cutting oil

Awesome
I had to drill holes through plates that had been cheated while welding to another plate. Use a good lubricating oil and they work awesome. Would highly recommend

Not for enlarging previous hole
It cuts through mild steel really well but I needed to enlarge the hole on a lawnmower blade but it didn't do much on that.
