Bye bye Reed and Barton--Same quality, weight, capacity and Super value!

I can't tell you how many Reed and Barton glasses I have broken over the years. I paid the price because I liked the glasses in every way but the fragility and the rising price finally got to me. When it was time to reload I decided to look for an acceptable alternative. I have tested these vigorously nearly every evening and I am temporarily sober enough to report that I get the same pleasure out of these glasses as I do the R&Bs at a fraction of the price. At this price you don't have to take my word for (hiccup) it, try them and see for yourself. The looks are very similar, the capacity is the same, and the weight is close and I haven't broken one yet. Cheers!

These glasses look so much better than pictured. None of the glasses were damaged in shipping. As for the mystery of where in Europe they are from? Italy! I already used one and I am very pleased with my purchase. Hopefully, the shorter ones I ordered will not disappoint.

Handsome, seemingly durable glasses

Purchased these glasses based on the photos and after unpacking them in person I'm pleased that they did not disappoint. They are handsomely designed and appear to be robust, based on their weight and the thickness of the glass. No defects. I would note that as of the date of this review the glasses seem to be made in Slovakia rather than Italy (that's what's printed on the box; there is only a discreet "Viski" logo on the bottom of each glass). I expect that these will serve me well.

A+ must buy

Size is perfect for a double old fashioned. Wide all the way from the bottom of to the top, which is perfect for large format ice cube. I can really fit a giant homemade cube in these. Perfectly clear crystal with a nice sparkle to them. This reserve line is light years ahead of the Viski Made In China variations (Which I returned).
