Purchased to wear under maxi dresses

I am a size med. but purchased this in a large. I wanted the fit to be biker shorts without having any cut in on the thighs. Sometimes shape wear can be seen under clothes because you can see where it ends on the thighs. The waist band is regular elastic and not flat like regular shape wear. I wear this under dresses so my thighs don't rub in hot weather. I don't wear it for shape wear. It is not dry fit material. Regular cotton more like a t-shirt. It is soft and won't irritate skin.

I normally wear Jeans that are a 24.... I bought these originally in a 24 and I was swimming in them, which is odd cause my thighs are ridiculously large... so then I returned them and got a 20 and I was still swimming in them.... so now I'm trying a 16 plus and watch them be way too small... I like how they feel otherwise but the sizing is so off... I just know I always have to buy to accommodate my thighs... I can usually size down in the waist area but my thighs and upper arms are my main problem areas!!

Could fit better

I really like these but they are definitely not made for a curvy body. If you are tall and skinny they will fit great. Definitely go up a size if you are curvy.

I cannot day enough great things

I was extremely worried that these would not fit or they would be very uncomfortable. I was very surprised to find that they fit great and I love the style so much. I paired them with a bikini top and it was a perfect combination. I was super comfortable all day, plus having a rash guard shirt with a bikini bottoms gave me two swims. If you don't have a rash guard you should really get one, because with the board shorts it is great protection from the sun.

Huge and thin

I’m a plus size person and was expecting these to be true to size.. they’re not.. they were probably about two sizes too big.. even tightening the chord didn’t help.. I can slip them on over jeans and still loose. Also the material was super thin.. these are going back.

Junior sizing

These shorts are sized in juniors, odd numbers. Think about upsizing a number to have these fit. If you're a 4, consider a 5. I'm 5'2", waist: 28", hip 38" and I bought a 9, it fits big, but I like that fit for board shorts.
