Instructions? What instructions?

I actually really like this lamp. It's reasonably priced, relatively good quality for the price and I find it an attractive addition to our home. HOWEVER, it comes with a piece of paper that gives you a parts list and that's pretty much it. There's a piece of glass that serves very well to cover the bulbs and bulb fixture, unfortunately the only way we've found to support it is to ensure that the electric wire is pulled through well and that's basically relying on friction to prevent it from e v e r s o o o o s l o w l y dropping down. There are three metal tabs inside the fabric-covered shade that *seem* to be absolutely perfect for mounting the glass. But there's no way to actually get the glass up onto all three tabs. I asked the question weeks ago with no response from anyone. Since I can't really find there's a seller I must assume it's being sold directly from Amazon. I think Amazon could put someone to work answering the unanswered questions, in fact I'm certain Jeff could afford this! So! Get the lamp knowing that it comes with absolutely no installation instructions and that you need to know/understand how building a lamp works. Be certain to tighten all nuts to pull together the bulb fixture with the portion from which the crystals hang, and be *sure* that's all tightened to the finial piece that is otherwise the ONLY THING holding that big piece of glass up. We considered not using the glass but, depending on how high you plan to hang the lamp that may not be very attractive. For our purposes it was not attractive. Other than that, it's a nice lamp!
