Use these for buffing RV

Saves wear & tear on the arms and do wash for reuse. When wear out will just replace.

Not for certain waxes or a lot of use

I use chemical brothers butterwax and the buffer gets loaded very easily and starts cooking the wax and causes it to harden and look terrible until it gets wiped off with a microfiber rag. I prefer to use the orbital only to apply the wax with a terry cloth cover.

Very high quality material, pleased with purchase

Very pleased that I found these on Amazon. The store where I had purchased my orbital buffer no longer carried replacement pads. These came and are even better than the original ones that came with the buffer. Good quality material, durable.

Proper care and maintenance

The key to getting the best serviceability is to presoak in hot water and detergent DAWN. Rinse thoroughly and run it through towel and sheet cycle on your washer. Put in Dryer at low heat with Bounce or whatever softener/static free product and you will experience a soft reusable bonnet. I have obtained dozens of reusable bonnets and still using them.

Pretty good

Held up to multiple washings throughout the polishing of my vehicle. Seems like pretty good materials and should hold up for a good while. Would recommend!

Sizing seems inaccurate

First of all I don't have experience using real wool pads or any other synthetic wool pads for that matter. Seemed to work good for me cutting paint and gelcoat, didn't seem to shed too much either. After all these are cheap. I will say the "10 inch" pads fit my 8 inch polisher perfectly. Luckily I have both but keep that in mind when ordering.

Not for the use I intended

So the quality of the product doesn't seem to be an issue but these didn't work anywhere near as well as the real wool bonnets supplied with my machine.... Like actually didn't work at all. Perhaps using them to polish aluminum after applying compound is not what they are intended for. If that is your plan... Try something else. Again, perhaps not bad for a different use as the quality does not seem to be poor but the type of material this is made out of is 100% useless for polishing aluminum after buffing with compound

no noticeable advantage

i might be using it incorrectly but i didnt see any noticeable difference from the one supplied in the orbital polisher unit.

Doing the job fine.

I’ve been using only one so far and it’s Been holding up pretty good. It does lose some fibres but compared to real wool it does fine.
