Solid product, but not set up to work with InSinkErator SST-FLTR

Faucet feels solid, heavy piece. Works more like a faucet than typical water dispenser - hot faucet does not have auto shut off. This product is designed for a setup with a hot water tank and separate cold water filter. I have the InSinkErator SST-FLTR that does both hot and cold and won't work with this - at least I couldn't figure it out. Prefer this design to InSinkErator's faucets.

Excellent Faucet

No more expensive valve replacements for the Franke Little Butler. This faucet is a perfect replacement with standard valves.

No replacement parts!

I have had the rubber hot water tubing break twice. Once I was able to cut it and reattach it to the hot water tank. The next time the hose was too short to reattach. The cheap plastic hose clamps broke soon after purchase. I have been trying to get a replacement tubing from Westbrass for several months. First, they told me to send them an email (which I did with photo) explaining exactly what parts I needed...keep in mind I had told them clearly what I needed over the phone. I never got a reply. After a week, I called again and was told that the part is out of stock with no idea when it will be available. They said they would call me. Right! The faucet worked fine, but because of the poor customer service and lack of replacement parts I would not buy Westbrass again!

Works great

I purchased the "oil rubbed brass" version, which I would call black satin. I like it a lot, and it was quite inexpensive, though that could change. By the way, initially I tried using it with the InSinkErator heater. The problem was I would have had to run a vent to top the sink, since this faucet does not accommodate the vent from this tank. So I switched to heater which vents through the hot water outlet. I found this somewhere (forget where)( for less than $100, and it works well enough. Overall, I like this set a lot more than the InSinkErator HC-1100.

failed customer service

This review is for general Westbrass customer service. I purchased another model Westbrass hot cold dispenser. The hot water side failed and leaked after 2 month, I called them and they send me some parts to fix it. It was not a easy fix however I managed to have it fixed then it failed again few month later the warranty has not expired yet. I called WestBrass and emailed them several times every time I was told that they will send the replacement parts but never did.

very nice unit

When I remodeled my kitchen I needed a new insta hot faucet. This one matches my main faucet perfectly. The ends of the two handles are color coded, red and blue. The cold water will stay on which is great for filling a coffee pot (I have the unit fed with filtered water) the hot side is spring loaded so when you let go, it shuts off. the hoses are long and color coded to make hook ups easy. I am very happy with this unit.
