High quality construction, beautifully made

I am changing our polished brass fixtures out to chrome or stainless throughout the house. When I was looking for a new tub vent and drain I was disappointed with the poor material and construction quality of what I found locally. What I removed were solid machined and stamped brass parts and what I could find locally were zinc castings with plastic components. I used to restore vintage brass architectural items, and more recently I worked as an engineer at a large resort so I am aware of how plumbing components of varying levels of construction and material quality hold up to time. I am very pleased with the look and build quality of this product and expect it to last many years. The fasteners, PVC and gasket components additionally were of similar quality. In my opinion, you can't go wrong with this kit.
