Perfect light for low ceilings. Gives a lot of personality to hallways, etc.

I live in a mobile home and we are replacing light kits. I got this for our hallway and it is amazing. It is your standard 3 wire installation and comes with good directions. Quick and easy to install if you are familiar but even if not, it is not a difficult process. The light only has a 6 3/4 inch drop from the ceiling so for our low ceilings it is perfect and it still brings out a fantastic, unique look to an otherwise boring space. It holds 2 standard bulbs and together they light the space well enough. You won't get a super bright light from this like a completely open, clear glass option but that should be obvious from the picture. Still, with 2 60 watt equivalents it is more than bright enough for everyday needs. The entire install and clean up for me took less than 30 minutes, including removal of the previous light kit. I highly recommend this kit. A 5 year warranty, such unique quality, and a really nice price point.

Excellent and handsome fixture

This fixture was exactly the upgrade I was looking for in our foyer. It has a contemporary yet "antique" barn style, which matches well with the barn door and nautical theme in our front room. This looks great paired with some Edison style "antique" bulbs also, even though they aren't super visible with the opaque surround and the seeded glass. This is an excellent upgrade, especially if you still have the typical old 13" flush-mount glass fixtures. This fit perfectly in its place, just matching the paint outline from not removing the old fixture when the ceiling was painted! This was pretty easy to install also, although the twist wire connectors I didn't think were big enough and posed a little bit of a challenge. I just used the ones that were attached to the fixture I removed, which were a larger gauge. I would suggest the company includes the next gauge size up for the connectors in the future.
