Thin but effective

These lightweight potholders held no surprises - but were exactly the weight that my mom was requesting, as she dislikes dealing with potholders that are too thick.

Very thin

These oven pads are very thin and I actually ended up burning my fingers slightly before I even got the baking sheet from out of my oven to set it down on top of the stove. They would have to be doubled up to provide heat protection for your hands.

Nice

We bought these to sew onto kitchen towels to use as hand drying towels, so I can't say how well they work as pot holders. They appear to be pretty thin though, but worked great for what we needed.
