Cheap wheels, hard to roll
Looks like pictures. I've had over a year now. Going to replace it because I'm tired of it not rolling...it skids along because the wheels don't spin/rotate; one or two or three at any given moment are perpendicular to the direction I'm wheeling it. I have to kneel down and turn wheels to line then up. I have wood floors...should make it easy. Sheesh...description said 'heavy duty wheels' I guess that means they're hard plastic, but nothing else!

IMORTANT UPDATE!! - The Wheels Do NOT Screw In - Just Set In
SADLY - (3rd update), as much as I love the look and effectiveness of it for sorting clothes, the middle seam tore down so now it's only a 2-section sorter, with one side 2ce the width of the the 3rd side. I need to find another one now that has room underneath for shoes, like this one did. Oh my gosh! My cleaning lady just left and she said "maybe we should just push it town onto the wheel". What a concept! It worked and now the wheels are secure! 5**** I love everything about this EXCEPT don't try to move it! Even though it's "set on" wheels, they don't screw in, so if you try to move it, the wheels come off and you have to flip it over to put them back on. Having done that once, I hardly move it - even the cleaning lady knows not to.

Would Have Been Perfect for Me, But...
This is exactly what I need. I can easily roll it into a small, oddly shaped, laundry room so I can put the laundry directly from the sorter into the washer. The bag area is shallow enough that I can easily reach to the bottom. The wheels work well over bumps and surface changes that casters would have trouble with. I'm disabled and don't need or want the kind of sorter with separate removable bags, since I wouldn't be able to pick them up and carry them, and most of them look like it would be easy to knock them off of the rails. The frame is kind of flimsy, but it has held up pretty well over almost a year of regular use. So, why am I only giving it three stars? The bag quality - or lack thereof, and a first ever fail for Whitmor customer service. The seams were uneven and crooked to start with. The fabric is thin with a very tight, non-breathable weave. Some of the seams were ripping after slightly less than a year and I sometimes need to leave damp or wet items in the sorter for a couple of days, so mildew was inevitable. The bag was relatively easy to get off of the frame to wash (you do have to take the frame apart to remove and replace it) and it washed fairly well, but the fabric did hold on to the stains, despite using chlorine bleach. I have a number of other Whitmor products and have been generally very pleased with the products themselves and good customer service when needed, so I decided to check into getting a replacement for the bag. I went to their web site and looked for information that I failed to find, so I used their contact form to ask about it. I finally ended up finding out that the cost would be $7 plus $5.99 shipping, so half of the purchase price of the full sorter. But, I would need to phone them to place the order. Now using my phone is fairly difficult due to hand problems. It is hard to enter a new number and then hold onto the phone during the call, let alone trying to hold the phone and my card while reading the numbers. Plus, while some people are concerned about entering their CC information online, I've always been a lot more concerned about giving my numbers over the phone to a person I don't know. I would have taken it down to two stars, but my issues with phoning are a personal problem. So now I'm looking at either ordering the complete unit again, or trying to find a replacement that will work with my particular needs and limitations.

No instructions included.
Assembly would have been easier if instructions were included. Had to use a small hammer to have the wheels seat properly.

Larger than I anticipated
This takes up too much room and is not very durable. I had just a few months and the stitches were coming loose.

I am in heaven with this sorter!
I kept putting it off because of the price and concern thst this would be a flimsy item and would last maybe a month. Boy, was I ever wrong! This laundry sorter is exactly what I was looking for. It is very sturdy and the three compartments are huge. I checked every seam inside and out on the laundry bag before use and found no weak areas anywhere. up to now, I had to carry one laundry basket at a time down to the machines on a lower floor of our building and then carry them up again. The soreness in my arms would linger for a week after, just when I needed to do it all over again. I just cannot believe how easy it is to do laundry now. I can fill with three loads and easily roll it to the elevator and to the laundry room now. I lift the wheels over the bottom track for the elevstor doors to avoid damage but a tiny amount of effort for what I get out of it. Would it be crazy to say I actually enjoy doing laundry now? if you are lookig for a sorter I would highly recommend this!
