Nice little library

Nice little bookshelf, well done and works well for my 11 mo. On the negative, there is not wall fixture, even if the bookshelf is well built, I’d like to have the possibility to fix it. The toys boxes are smaller than expected but work well anyway.

Save yourself a headache, and use the impact drill to assemble

So I purchased this for my 5 year old who kept pulling all the books down out of his closet when he wanted to look at them and wasn’t able to put them back himself. Assembly: this was initially a pain as I was using just a screwdriver, but once I resolved and asked my hubby for his impact drill and Phillips but, it was a cinch. Was able to put together by myself with 3 small people trying to run off with the screws within minutes after getting the impact drill. Durability: looks to be as durable as you can ask for these days for a pre-fabricated furniture piece that arrived in a box. The material used looks sturdy compared to some reviews of similar products. The ‘drawers’ however just sit there without a back to the shelf or a wooden piece between the two boxes, so I’m not sure they will be very easy to push back in for little people, nor do I think they would be good for heavier toys, like legos or extra books. The shelves themselves definitely will not take a lot of books, or a bunch of hardbacks. A good mix of a few favorites will do great though. It works really well for the books you get from Imagination Library or scholastic- which are often what children can’t see when stacked together on a book shelf. Size and Accessibility: although this was a bit smaller then I anticipated, see picture next to dresser for comparison, I do like that the small people can all get to the books and put them back on their own. My ultimate plan was to use this to switch out books periodically from the large shelf to give the kids variety and access to appropriate and seasonal books. It also helps to have a small group to chose from for story time or bedtime, and eliminates those really long books that kids pick out in an effort to stay awake longer. Overall, I would have liked to see this at a smaller price point, I paid $65, and would have felt more comfortable for the size and materials at $45, but I’m happy with the purchase. If you’re looking to house a lot of books, or a lot of board or hardbacks children’s books, I suggest an all wood shelving. But if you want something accessible to small people for a small variety of books, I feel this is the best option.

Pros: Arrived fast Undamaged Simple to put together (as long as you use electric screwdriver) Pockets are deep enough Canvas is sturdy Cons Some of screws did not align. Overall good product. But doesn't fit the price it has been charged. However functional. Unlike another review about the shallow pockets, product we have got had decent depth. Even in all three pockets. A4 sized books are standing upright on the top pocket nicely. I do agree with one of the reviews, get an electric screwdrivervto safe yourself a headache

Great organizer for toddler books and toys

I love the sling book holder unit. I am a grandmother of a 20 month old and this really organizes my living room. My granddaughter can see and choose her books since it’s the perfect height. The two cloth baskets I am able to keep her small toys when she is not visiting
