Best small vise on the market

I have had this little vise for some time now and have used it several times for small projects (obviously) this is the best "heaviest" small vise I could find and I have several of the large industrial vises that I have used for ever. I give this little vise a "hit" because the handle does not turn easily from "jaws closed to jaws 1/4 open" or visa versa. there seems to be some type of unfinished machining that makes the vise hard to close and open. all-in-all the vise works great and in my opinion is the BEST LITTLE VISE ON THE MARKET interesting... one person gave the LITTLE vise 5stars and said it was used on the back of a service truck for oilfield work??? years ago I worked in the oilfield as a "roustabout" and then worked on "rigs" for 10+ years. I cant remember ever needing a vise this small for my oilfield work or even seeing one on location, but I do not know what tasks they do. It is good enough for the oilfield!!!!!

Precision

This is the best portable, clamp on vise I have ever seen. The screw has no play. The jaws have no side to side play and mate perfectly. Quality seems to be as good as the Wilton machinest bench vise that I have. It is well worth the money.

Perfect for jewelers and diamond setters. Jaws align perfectly, just replace the jaws with brass, now you have a great vice. Definitely recommend it...

Not good for AR assembly

It’s an okay vise (not the traditional Wilton quality I expected). I was hopeful it would work well with my reloading bench for AR barrel installation, but the jaws don’t open wide enough for the upper clamp block. It’ll hold small things, but it’s not what you need for building those scary black rifles.

Great for worktrucks

Fits great on the back bumper of my husbands work truck. It is used out in the oilfields and worls great. Sturdy design and doesmt budge.
