Would have rated five stars, IF....

I really like this little desk! It is smaller than I expected and the drawers more miserly, even though I looked carefully at the dimensions and measured against the space it was to go in. The desk was very easy to assemble, but I agree with another reviewer that the cubby -- attached only by two wood screws -- is the weak part of the piece. Since I am not moving the desk around, for the price I am satisfied. Where I encountered an issue was with the OEM knobs. For me they did not enhance the piece and I wanted to replace with something more rustic-looking. However, the OEM knobs are wood and I found that the drawers were set up for wood screws (to screw into the wood knobs) rather than metal screws (for simply attaching knobs). And when I attempted to add my replacement knobs, standard length cabinet screws did not fit because of the indentations drilled into the drawers and the different depth of the drawer fronts. I jimmied my knobs to attach using standard cabinet screws with plastic doughnut washers -- a little funky looking, but for now this is OK. Other than that, this is a very cute desk that brightens up the space I have it in.

I am happy with this purchase

I almost didn't buy this because the photo made it look kind of like a sickly yellow color. However, it is not yellow, it is a pretty honey color. I needed a desk with a small footprint to go in a small space, but with a desktop big enough for a laptop and some papers. This desk is perfect, and I like the two-level top, with the three small drawers. It is solid wood, which is not easy to find. Very nice piece of furniture for a good price. I am happy with it.

Love, love this desk

This was exactly what I was looking for that would fit in a small space in our great room. It's very well built and matched my oak furniture perfectly. It looks expensive but is reasonably priced.

Nice Desk but Delivered with Damage

I have purchased several of these small desks in the past because they work for a variety of situations. I have a printer on one desk, a sewing machine on another and sewing supplies and storage on a third desk. The desks are sturdy and not too difficult to assemble. I ordered two more because the price was good, but this time the desks came with substantial damage. One corner on each desktop had damage. There also was damage to the back of each desk hutch. I noticed that unlike previous desks, the back was nailed with small, thin nails instead of stapled with heavy-duty staples. This caused the backing to separate from the main hutch piece and the drawers not sit correctly in place. These units are heavy and would be difficult to return. My husband was able to repair the desk hutch pieces with heavy-duty stapling, but I don't know if I can fix the corners. I ordered a furniture repair kit to give this a go. I'm obviously disappointed with this latest delivery. I like these desks a lot, but I noticed a lot of reviews about damage and flaws. I certainly would never buy this desk at the $250 full price I have seen in the past. Look at my photos...you be the judge. I'm conflicted about how to score the overall rating. On past deliveries, I would have given four stars at least. This delivery, I can only give two.

A Great Desk For Limited Spaces

This is an adorable, well constructed desk made of wood, but small. I needed something small, honey stained with a hutch, and this "fits the bill" for me. For reference, I'm 5'7" and using a dinning room chair, there is only about 2-1/2" of space from my knees to the underside of the desk. I do not believe that this would be a desk for a large/tall person. In saying this, the desk is on carpet so on hardwood floors you may have additional space. This was very easy to assemble and only comes in four pieces (the desk itself, the hutch, the draws and the legs). It also includes the screws and a little tool to screw in the bolts. Another reference, use your own tools! The knobs for the draws of the hutch were difficult to screw in as the screwdriver is larger (longer) than the drawer. These draws are very small and I don't believe an index card would fit (little disappointed). The delivery was fantastic. I ordered the desk on January 3, 2018 and received it on January 12, 2018. The 3rd party seller was Supply Cart. The reason for the 4 star review was that the desk came damaged (there was a small split in one of the legs, the veneer was missing in some spots and the back right corner was pushed in and cracked. I called Amazon and said they would contact the seller and should hear in 2 days. The seller called me within an hour and informed me that they do not have a repair kit(???) but reimbursed me money for my inconvenience. I decided to keep the desk as the split in the leg and the missing veneer was not noticeable to other people (I just have an eagle eye) and the cracked corner is against the wall. Even with the imperfections I would recommend this desk. Also Amazon did a fantastic job in the promptness of notifying the seller and Supply Cart was very apologetic, professional and courteous. Amazon uses a number of 3rd party sellers and in my opinion Supply Cart handled this beautifully with amazing delivery service.

This desk arrived really fast. Min assembly required, well made and looks nice. Fits well in a small space. Im very happy with it.

It's a good desk but...

It's a pricey but a sturdy desk and it fits in my small bedroom. My only complaint is that there's some damage on the lower right part where you insert the drawer and the wood behind it is thin and can break easily.
