Winsor and Newton- a good old trusted brand

I've used Winsor & Newton water colors and products for many years with good success. Water color pencils have a learning curve, but once you've played with them awhile you'll find they are a handy tool. WC pencils come with various degrees of hardness- a matter of personal preference. Each manufacturer is different. I purchased the small 12 pencil set for that reason. They are packaged in a pencil thin metal case. Very handy.

Wrong packaging. No claims.

The set I got isn't the same packaging as the ones pictured. The difference is in the claims of artist grade and light-fast. Their performance doesn't convince me otherwise either. I probably won't use these because the label was different. Posted a review of it including the wrong label as I unboxed it on YouTube.

very waxy

I bought the pencils because i needed the metal box without hinges, tried the pencils once and would/will not use them. They are very waxy, if you takup the color with a brush directly from the pencil its "ok" but i am not a big fan of Winsor&Newton in general. Much prefer Schmincke for aquarell.

Lì ho utilizzati addirittura in auto durante un lungo viaggio! Moooolto comodi e belli! C’è tutto. Consigliatissimi soprattutto su cartoncino colorato!

Esperaba un poco más de unos lápices acuareables de esta marca. Si que es cierto que lo que te vale un tubo de acuarela, te vale toda la caja... pero no se, no me convencen mucho. Recomendaría de otras marcas antes que estos. Lo siento por W&N pero... no.
