Solid seat pedestals, and were the best price I could find anywhere, especially in a model that includes the seat slide. The only con is the base is a really, really rough brushed finish. I mean it looks like it was finished with 24 grit sandpaper. I needed to sand them down a bit to smooth them out and remove some of the metal splinters.

Good sturdy unit. Nicely designed slide. The finish on the base is rough as others have pointed. out, but that wouldn't keep me from buying another for an everyday boat.

Wise is Springfield ? !!

Arrived on time; no surprise. However; the 2 Wise pedestals I received are to replace an old “AD” rated Springfield pedestal to become a shiny new matching pair for my new seats. Surprise was the Wise are Springfield and identical, strong sturdy and shiny new - right down to the Springfield name in the base casting! And what’s new is the swivel lock - awesome.
