Solid Door Closer

Solid basic door closer. Works similarly to others I've gotten and installs the same - quick and easy. One feature I liked was that the screws and hardware were all black - looks a little nicer than others with silver screws. Deducted one star for a few small issues: This closer is a little shorter than others, so the door opens a little less. It makes a little bit of a groaning noise on opening which is a little distracting It has white branding on it (not a sticker) so it's there forever and looks a bit tacky unlike others I've had.

Closes too close to heels

No matter how I adjust the closer, it always gets too close to my heels even after fully opening the door. Door will bite me if there is a slight wind in the closing direction .

Storm door closer

It's for now the only problem I have is I thought it would hold my storm door all the way open so I could get my groceries in but this one was too short so it only opened part of the way fell lil short than that works ok for now

Perfect for a Storm Door and easy to install

Ordered two of them for my storm door and replaced the two existing ones that went bad. Instead of spending 250-300 to replace the whole door, just replaced these pneumatic closers and my door is as good as new. Just noticed the original door closers were by the same ones I bought. Replacing them was very easy. Took me a total of 30 minutes.

Excellent Value

I purchased this door closer based on price. I compared this with ones at the local box store and it saved me five dollars. It was easy to install and adjust. This door closer works great. I am very happy with purchase.

Make sure you know the opening size of your door otherwise you can’t fully open your door

Have to constantly adjust it to get it to close gently. It either close too hard it won’t all the way.

The pin doesn't fit through the hardware. I cleaned off the coating(black paint) and it was still too big... I had to drill the holes out to a larger size to make it fit...
