Couldn't be happier!
If you're already in the HomeKit ecosystem, this is the single best smartphone-controlled upgrade you can make to your dwelling. Setup is easy, just remember to upgrade your phone's software and have a 2.4 GHz WiFi network on hand. This lock will not connect to a 5 GHz network! Here's a tip that may save a number of hours of frustration: If the deadbolt is spinning the wrong way, the solution isn't to factory reset the lock and go through setup again the way the manufacturer calls for, you can simply do the following: #3#5## And voila, your deadbolt spins the right way! I hope this review helps you make an informed purchasing decision. I am not a paid reviewer (just a customer like you), so if you find this review helpful, do mark it accordingly. Thanks! :)

Works Great
I really like this lock as its compatible with Applehome kit and has the auto unlock feature when I arrive home. I only gave 4 stars as the auto unlock doesn't always work and the keypad you have to touch the Yale icon to even bring up the keypad. Was easy to install and hookup to wifi and homekit.

It’s a decent lock once it’s installed but took 3 days of back and forth with Yale support to get the lock to calibrate Also my better half had to tweak some Alexa adjustment to get the lock to work with Alexa And third sometimes the lock shows unlocked on the app when it’s locked a problem if you are not home. Did “lock” with google and seems to be ok now A positive is the small size I needed so as not to interfere with my screen door

Looks Good, Works Great
If this is your first time installing a deadbolt or handle, the instructions are somewhat hard to follow. Once installed though, this lock and handle feel like quality pieces and look great. The August module that comes with the lock will automatically unlock the door for you when it detects you arriving home. This is an awesome and extremely helpful feature.

It works but ..
This works for our busy house with dog walkers, friends, cleaners, and others who need to get in and out while i like to have some semblance of being able to lock the door and secure my home, which was not working with the unsightly lockbox this replaced. That said it took forever to install .. not the mechanical part, that was easy, the hub and app took hours on the phone w Amazon then w Yale to get it to work minimally. It still doesn’t work with Alexa (only it’s own standalone August app) and I’m nervous about what happens if the battery in the motor dies, but no real problems yet. The knob is nice looking.

We recently bought a condo in Corpus Christi and control the lock from Austin.
We rent our Condo with AirBNB. Our renters like the feature that lets them pick a lock code they can remember! We are able to reset the code after each renter. In addition the cleaning service and the condo association have their own unique codes so we can track who is unlocking and locking the unit. And NO KEYS needed.

Lock works great also with the app
Mark was easy to install just a few minor adjustments , instructions could have been better but got it working with the app and that works good

Works quite well - so far.
Liking it well enough. Was easy to mechanically install, easy to connect to bluetooth, not so easy to connect to wifi. Now that everything is connected and working, it's been great. Not quite 5-star worthy as a result of the connection/set-up challenges - and I am pretty tech savvy.

great smart features, and it looks good too
Overall, there are a tonne of features here that help secure my home. I no longer need to worry about loosing my key, or even taking one with me. Integrates well with the rest of the household. Biggest issue I've come across is trying to use Google Assistant to lock or unlock door. It asks for a pass code you create when you connect. If i wanted to go through the trouble of using a code (manually entering it on the screen of Google Home) then i'm better off using my phone and app. wasted opportunity, however the solid performance of the rest of the lock more than makes up for it.

Electronics are bad
After a year a started having problems with the electronics ,like door locking when It was open, battery draining in like 2-3 weeks and the warranty on electronics is only 1 year so customer service offered a 20% discount on my next purchase but I won’t be buying again since I just wasted 500$ for a lock that lasted a year only! Definitely disappointed since this should be one of their top product but it’s not made to last!
