LASTS LONG, VERY FAINT SCENT BUT CLEANS THE AIR, ON SALE RIGHT NOW

Yankee lasts long so worth the extra money, the jar is safe and strong, the lid puts out the flame easily without smoking. This scent is extremely light to none which is good for cooking or for those who object to strong scents. It gets rid of cooking smells. Currently on sale so stock up. I have given it for a gift because scent is personal and this is so light anyone would not mind it.

Love the Scent - dislike the wick

I love the scent. I've had stronger Cotton/Linen scented ones but this one is probably more agreeable for most. I have the large Jar and ran into the issue midway where the wick got too short and wouldn't melt the was at the edges of the candle. I ended up trying several ways, digging up some of the wax, moving the wax around, etc. Unfortunately, that meant some of my experiments meant I got ash and other impurities in the candle (not the candle's fault). The only solution I found that worked was digging a deep hole to add candle wicks I bought separately. So you can see even though these candles are single wick, I added a few more to get the entire wax to melt and it's not ideal. I think the versions with 2 wicks would be better than the single ones. The wick issue is not on all Yankee Large Jar candles, but it happened on this one. I still repurchased it because there were two wick ones available, and as I said, I like the scent and I found a way of making it work. But if you're the type to get frustrated with candles that can't burn entirely, I would suggest you try the 2 wick type.

Strange colour, smells different

I have had these candles before so I was suprised when I have just opened them to find they are bright yellow and not white! The smell similar to my previous white tea candle from Yankee but something is off about these. Not sure if I will keep them!

Best fragrance

I'm true Yankee fashion this was a brilliantly scented candle. Yankee candles are fragranced all the way through which means that it doesn't matter how far down you burn the wax it will still be as fragranced as when you first brought it. It definately makes it a worthwhile purchase. The fragrance was very strong and lasted for hours even after he candle had been snuffed out. The wax pooled extremely well which meant the maximum amount of wax was burned leaving no wastage. It was brought as a gift and matched the recipients decor which was perfect. They loved the fragrance and were devestated when they used it all up. They keep hinting that I should buy them another one!! A shade was used with this jar which ensured it burnt evenly and wasn't affected by draughts, something that I would highly recommend doing as it really does make such a huge difference and prevents the candle from tunnelling. Amazon tends to be so much cheaper for Yankee candles than the high street stores and even the Yankee candle shop so I would definately recommend buying them from Amazon. They are definately worth the money though as you ow with a Yankee candle you are getting a high quality product. This fragrance was a beautiful clean fragrance and was so fresh and inviting. It really is an excellent purchase and I would highly recommend.
