Really Disappointed
The grooves/holes in the molcajete are way too big. There will be so much stuck food in the crevices or rocks in my food. It's pretty much unusable. I can't imagine it will last if I use it regularly.

Love it, it looks modern and the wood stand is nice it makes it easy to slide on your kitchen counter.

You have to "sazón it"
To the review complaining about the groves... you have to season a molcajete. Look at youtube videos if you don't know how. It's a process to fill up those pores with rice and salt (big grains). Hopefully they end up knowing how to season it lol
