Works well enough, looks okay.
This looks decent after installation, I've had it up for about two months now and its doing well without a ceiling support. I do try to be very careful about tugging on the curtain or putting anything heavy on the rod. We are using a thin, clear shower curtain. I had to trim down the rod to fit my space which was 57 inches. I used a jig saw to trim the pieces as it was all I had and really needed two people while attaching the bar to the brackets. My biggest complaint is that the screw that hold that two pieces of bar together is stripped out, im probably going to have to glue it so that it will stay in. Overall, i would buy this again, but you get what you pay for. Updated 12/31/18: It’s been about seven months and I have added photos, this is holding up really well, I am upgrading my review from a 3 to a 4 because it still feels pretty solid. Updated 06/08/2019: My shower curtain rod is still in good condition. I haven’t had any problems and still haven’t glued or done anything with the stripped screw. It looks the same as in the photos. Update 9/18/2021: rod is still going strong and working perfectly

Economical corner rod surprisingly strong
I have actually had this rod installed for about ten years and one of the brackets broke when it started to be used frequently for family use rather than occasional guest room use. So all I really ended up using from this purchase was a new bracket, because I was too lazy to cut the new rod to the right length so I reused my old rod. That said, I examined the new rod carefully and there are a number of negative reviews here that just show no common sense! The L shaped piece has to be facing the right way for the width of the rod to be right. The person who said it was too short simply had it reversed. The screw facing up? Come on people. Drill a hole all the way through the outside pipe and insert the provided screw from the bottom so the shower curtain will slide properly. . It’s not rocket engineering! Installing is a little tricky. The way my rod was orinally installed, the long side was just a little too long for where the bracket at the end of the tub was installed, which put stress on the fitting holding up the rod. I put the new bracket up exactly where it was before, but took about 3/8 of an inch off the other end of the pipe. You don’t want a lot of torque on the rod; it should fit snugly but not have extra pressure applied to the bend. It’s surprising to me that this rod holds true and strong enough without a ceiling support at the bend, but it does. Very economical solution.

Clawfoot Tub Surround
With two sets of this and the interior rod of the old shower curtain rod to join the two sets, I got the perfect fit to surround the clawfoot tub. Three sides have uninterrupted travel for the curtain rings. For the fourth side, I placed an expandable rod that I already had. It won’t hold much beyond the curtains and curtain rings, but placing it high out of reach prevents accidentally grabbing it. Affordable solution to the tub surround problems and it looks nice.

Consider Your Shower Layout
Cheap, durable and easy to install. The only issue I had was that my shower was reversed from the product, so I had to flip it upside down. To make this work, I had to re-drill a whole on the opposite side of where the current screw is that holds the extension so that the curtain wouldn’t catch on it when opening and closing. If the company simply makes two holes on opposite side, it will then be interchangeable. For a DIY person, it was simple and took only 30 minutes to make the adjustment and install the product.

Missing pieces but overall made it work
Got this for a corner tub. Size worked well. For the direction we had to use it the screws are in top and the curtain is catching a little but will get new shower rings to accommodate. Box says it comes with 8 wall anchors and screws only came with 4 which is why I rated the sturdiness so low

Surprisingly sturdy and looks good
Once everything is tightened up it is sturdy enough for a basic curtain without the corner support. Although I did shorten the short leg to about 13” so that helps but it is sturdier than expected once installed and tightened up

Good and solved out problem. Price higher than my expectation.
This thing solved our lone time problem. It’s longer than I need but very easy to cut. I used a hand tool to cut it, cost about 5min. It’s softer than I thought. The installation took me about 15min including measurements, very easy to do. I was worrying it may fall of the wall when I place the curtain on, but it’s stable, no problem. Should be able to last for sometime. For the price, it’s higher than my expectation, but similar stuff are all at same price range, so, not too much to complain.

US quality from US made in China.
Great product, lovely finish, if fixed well can look and work marvelously, one star less is for two things, 1 Chinese item shipped from America? Took a very long time to arrive and 2 the two joining screws with bulging heads that create Hassel to slide the shower curtains across, I am trying to get heedless screws and that should solve the problem

Great for price, easy to install, a bit weak but does the job
Great to find a shower rod with the dimensions we needed, without spending hundreds of dollars. We have tiling around the tub and so couldn't buy a standard sized rod. However, this was a perfect length, and was just a few inches short of the width (which we knew when we bought it, and just built a short extension from the wall to drill it into.) Easy installation, not the strongest but holds the shower lining fine. Just wouldn't hold a heavier cloth curtain, but that's okay, can't complain!

Uneven surface caused by the screw
The screws in yhthe joints are obstructing the free flow of moevement of curtains...very uncomfortable. Not value for money spent...

Works very well
Very happy with this. Good solid mounting brackets and can work with long or standard tubs (you might have to cut it). Due to the weight of the shower curtains we did put a decorative chain for added support from the curve in the rod to the ceiling. It's a bit expensive, but frankly worth it.
