Good deal
If you're in the market for a top-quality protective finish for your furniture, then the Minwax 63333 Clear Polycrylic Water-Based Protective Finish Satin is the product for you. This one-quart container of protective finish is perfect for anyone looking to give their wooden furniture a beautiful, glossy finish that will protect it for years to come. One of the standout features of this product is that it is water-based, which means that it is easy to clean up after use. Unlike other finishes that require the use of solvents or other harsh chemicals, this product can be cleaned up with just soap and water. It's also low odor, which makes it an excellent choice for those who are sensitive to strong smells. When it comes to the finish itself, the Minwax 63333 Clear Polycrylic Water-Based Protective Finish Satin provides a beautiful, clear, satin finish that enhances the natural beauty of wood. It's easy to apply, dries quickly, and doesn't yellow over time, which is a common problem with other finishes. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high-quality protective finish for their wooden furniture. It's easy to use, provides a beautiful finish, and is long-lasting, making it an excellent value for the price. So, if you're in the market for a protective finish, give the Minwax 63333 Clear Polycrylic Water-Based Protective Finish Satin a try - you won't be disappointed!

Great product. Does excellent on wood.
Loved the product and it did a fabulous job on a dresser and two night stands. The only caution about this product is DO NOT SHAKE THE CAN, Use your paint stick and slowly stir. If you shake this product and start to coat, you will have tiny bubbles all over your wood. I found this out from a friend and professional painter. Just remember to slowly stir the product and you can not go wrong.

Not super easy to use
I bought the spray can because I had a pretty intricate wood project that would have been tough to apply the finish using a brush. As anyone who has used the non-spray cans knows, this product can be hard to apply without getting blobs around sharp edges. The spray can is a little better, but it requires some skill to make it work. The spray does not really atomize the poly very well and it's very easy to apply too much and get a drip. I found it's better to apply a very light coat and trust that it will self-level as it dries (which it does for the most part).

Excellent
Been using this for 3 years weekly. Finally a product that has no strong smell, goes on easy in a milky white color, dries strong & crystal clear within 40 minutes ready for another coat to build a glass like finish. We use a blow dryer to speed up dry times. It washes clean with water preserving brushes. We use this as an encapsulating finish over 5 coats of color water base paint coats applied the day prior for prosthetics. The only con is it can get clumpy in a container. It fully cures in 4 days to a clear sandable finish. I have even used this repainting over a steel powder coated exterior door after using a primer, base gray color water base paint then applying 7 coats with light sanding over a week. It is providing a protective high gloss finish over a steel paint project. Buy It.

This stuff is perfect
Goes on easy, dries fast, and dries matte. It's been waterproof tested in our home! I recommend not putting it on too light as you won't get enough coverage and not too heavy as you'll get bubbles. Use medium thickness and go slow with a brush to brush any bubbles out.

Better than expected.
Con: It's a little expensive. Pro: If you have any spray painting skills at all your results will be good. I built a cabinet using veneer. I didn't want the thin veneer to get to wet and bubble up with a brush on coating so I sprayed a couple very light coats with this first. Then I brushed on with a foam brush two coats from a can for more thickness. Then I lightly sanded with 400 grit sandpaper. Cleaned it up good then sprayed on 2 more coats with fantastic results. Yes, I could have just kept spraying on coat after coat but brushing it on is less expensive and I will have more spray now for future projects.

Great product but overpriced
Pricey for the small tin

Good product but finishes are not what I expected
The matte finish is still shiny and the gloss finish isn’t shiny enough. It’s too expensive. And I found even after 2 coats it came off after a washed a small spot so had to reapply
