More than 40 years ago this simple hearing protector, the world’s first foam ear plug, revolutionized hearing protection in the workplace and has remained to this day one of the most widely used earplugs in the world. The 3M E-A-R Classic Earplugs are constructed from slow-recovery, low-pressure foam. They fit snugly to create a noise barrier that helps protect hearing from loud sounds. These ear plugs are stiff enough when compressed to make fitting easy, yet soft enough to be comfortable in the ear for extended wear. Bright yellow color allows supervisors to conduct quick visual hearing protection compliance checks. Recommended applications include chipping, chiseling, drilling, furnace operations, grinding, heavy equipment operations, machining, pouring/casting, power fastening, riveting, sanding, sawing and welding. These regular size earplugs comfortably fit most people. These ear plugs have a Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 29 dB, CSA Class AL. Flame resistance helps protect against potential arc flash situations and provides for safer storage. Necessary for a loud home environment

I am a light sleeper. I hate it so much. We have teenagers and a snoring husband. These are the only earplugs I can comfortably sleep in and I’ve tried EVERY type of earplug. When in doubt, go original.

No box

Did not arrive in a box as in the photograph which is a nuisance for storing them, and leaves you having to count to make sure all there (thankfully they were). Good product but less than ideal on the packaging.

Not as good as the original orange 3M.

I paid so much to get these imported to India. Not good at all. You can still hear the person next to you snoring. But some days, if I have an ear infection or pain in my eyes, I am planning to use these instead of the regular ones. They are definitely less stressful to the ears. But I cannot use them daily as I need quiet to fall asleep. If you can only afford to buy one type, buy the orange ones.. These barely do noise cancellation.

It's Time For Silence

These are very soft and sit comfortably in your ear. The round non-cone shape fits perfectly and seals out all unwanted noise. Whether snoring, cars, trucks, and traffic, music, and noisy neighbours. You'll definitely get your zzz's with these! This is my second time buying a box and they are hands down, THE BEST earplugs! Forget the cone-shaped things, they fall out. These plugs will mould to your ear, and fit snuggly yet comfortably. Come morning, they have fallen out (for me anyway) but that's perfect, at least I can hear my alarm. I do wish they came with a case, because they dry out if left sitting on your nightstand. At least it's a pretty big box! That said, I'd still recommend them!

What i like most about this product is the fact that you get 30 pairs for less than $14. You will not find a better price, especially for the quantity. I have been buying ear plugs for decades, these 3M plugs are awesome. In most retail stores and pharmacies, the price is the same, however, you only get 12 to 13 pairs, not 30. Each pair has it's own little box. As for noise cancellation, I can barely hear myself speak. Nice and spongy. Little tip, you can wash these earplugs in a machine,no problems. If your a person who works all day with big noise, these are definitely for you.
