Magnetic tile art kit

I purchased 2 for grandsons and I to enjoy during their annual summer visit - they were a hit with the youngest (8) who is the budding artist. The oldest, 11 was 'ok' with the project. They provide paint for the tiles, but in order to escape the paint mess - I used a very large set of colored permanent ink pens (national brand starts with an S) and they worked perfectly! Way less mess. The magnets are stick on and seem to hold. I am a little worried because of the textured backs of the ceramic tiles that the sticky part of the selfstick magnets may give over time, but we shall see. They are actual ceramic tiles meant to be used with grout - so they have a waffle texture to the backs. The front of the tiles are smooth, an ivory shimmer to them. For the price I think they were a good deal and fun project! I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I do not accept any discounts or deals that are not available to all shoppers. And my reviews are based purely on my personal experience with each item I review.

Creative minds

I bought this for my granddaughter. I didn’t get a chance to see them, but I heard that she really enjoyed herself making them. I think it’s a great gift for younger children, and for even teenagers even adults for a craft.

Clever art project

Small white tiles with adhesive magnets. Some paint included, but not much. It’s a good value, but if aren’t buying it as a fast and easy gift, go to the hardware store to pick up white subway tiles and some adhesive magnets. It’s cheap and you’ll get more for your money.

Meh!

Just alright. Would of been nice if there were 2 brushes so I could of painted with my daughter. Also the adhesive on the magnet doesn’t stick to the tile very strongly. Lots of tiles, not a lot of paint.
