Started to fall apart
I love the look of these slippers and I have worn them a lot, but the stitching started to rip after just a new month and 6 months in they are completely falling apart.

These are SOOOOO comfy!
I had tried on a different pair of Acorn bootie slippers (with the same sole) in a store, so I was confident that the 8-9 would be right. What I didn’t know was how the build of the slipper would be so supportive and comfortable! The recycled fluff—is super firm, while also being cuddly. They are roomy enough to wear with wool socks, which I will as it gets colder!

The medium feels just a bit short.
I have had these before fire winter wear…not so much for summer.

Not worth the money
These did not keep my feet warm and weren't comfortable for the price. They seem to run large

Fairly comfortable
My favorite slippers in the world are the Acorn Faux Chinchilla, which cost about $40. I have replaced the pair a few times over the years, because no other slipper even comes close--not even other Acorn slippers, which I've trie. I decided to try these, also--and it is always due to the brand. But these, which are way more pricey than the Chinchilla, aren't nearly as comfortable. I suppose that the "Berber" lining is the reason? I don't know. The recycled material is a good marketing angle, and of course I approve of not wasting so much on our planet. On the other hand, I want whatever is on my feet to be cushion-y and to fit flawlessly, if possible. These fit fairly well (after a break-in period) and has some cushiony foam inside, but these don't please me like my chinchillas do. I wear an 8.5 so I bought the 8-9 size. At first, the fit was really awkward--the toes hit the end and the heels kept coming out. However, after I wore them for a few hours/day for 3 or 4 days, they evened out, and the fit became good. They maintain their shape when removed, and I can often just dart my feet into them without using my hands. There's also a loop on the upper heel if you need to grab to put them on. They are somewhat ugly looking! I don't care about that, though, not when it comes to slippers. I am looking for comfort and function when it comes to slippers, not style and beauty. I wouldn't run to stock up on these, especially at this price, but they aren't bad, and will keep my feet warm on cold days.

Comfy, not much support
These recycled bootie slippers by Acorn are warm and cozy. They look and feel like they will last a lot time if not abused by the wearer, and are soft and well made. I also appreciate the fact that they are machine washable. I don't love the high cost of $50-$60 in my size, especially when everything that is used to make the slipper is a faux fiber. There is no real arch support in the soles of the slippers to speak of, it is more like wearing a thin pillow with a vinyl base slapped onto it for protection. But, I wouldn't wear these all day anyway, so maybe that's not really the point. I'm usually a size 8.5 and the 8-9 fits very well, maybe a tad bit long. I will likely most enjoy wearing these when I'm sitting around crafting on cold Winter nights at home. I recommend them, if you have a pretty penny to spare.

Super cute - perfect for mid range temperatures and wearing around the house
Working at home full-time, I blow through slippers pretty easily and typically replace them 2 to 3 times a year. I decided to splurge on these when I came across them as they were super cute and as we are heading into the warmer season, I do not need anything to be incredibly warm and was interested in the recycled material. I went for the beige option because dark fabrics in this house is not match for what we dog lovers refer to as “glitter” (AKA dog hair) that inevitably sticks to it…. Like my pants in the photos. ???? I usually wear a women’s US size 7-7.5 (preferably wide) and am happy to report the 6.5-7.5 option fits perfect. At first I wasn’t sure how the front opening would work out, afraid they would easily stretch out and/or slip off, however after wearing them for a few days now I am fully satisfied with the front opening and have found a few unexpected benefits: 1. if/when I do want to wear thicker socks they won’t be too tight or get stretched out super easily 2. the extra air flow has been keeping my feet from getting too warm * I have found the overall temperature to be excellent! The material Not too thick that my feet sweat and just thick enough to keep them cozy (temps have varied between the 25°-60° range since I have been wearing them). Also worth mentioning that I really like the soles of these slippers. I have wood floors and haaaaaaate when slippers are audible and click-clacking when walking around. These are grippy (I feel safe running up and down wood floor stairs) and quiet! I also tend to clean my house with slippers on and am pleased with the grip and material of the rubber soles when completing floor chores such as mopping - previous slippers I have gotten have been less preferable for these tasks, either being too thin or too slippery. Super pleased with these and would buy again!
