Easy for Beginners/Amazing
I wanted to preserve these gorgeous rainbow roses and preserve the color. I tried the microwave + Silica Gel method with two buds. It darkened them and wrinkled them but they dried very quickly. The rest I dried the slow method and since my roses were a bit old they dried in 48 hours. As you can see the colors remained gorgeous and bold. First pic is fresh. The hexagon has two darker roses on the top left. Those were microwaved. I learned about this brand on YouTube and it was my first time using Silica Gel. Very easy for beginners.

Perfect for delicate blossoms
This silica gel is fine enough to be used for Queen Anne's Lace blossom heads. And that says it all. I have used this brand for years now and keep coming back for more as my drying needs are expanding. It is reusable by gently drying it in the oven on low heat until the pink particles have turned blue again. Great product although they have cut the bag down from 5 to 4 pounds.

Flowers keep more color
I would normally dry out flowers upside down but using these beads helped them keep their form and more of the natural color of the flowers.

Not entirely white
Blue dots in the mixture, had to return for what I was using it for. Description isn’t accurate for stating it is white.

I dry my flowers for use in resin and jewelry products. It is the best one I have ever used.
I have dried many different flowers, even ones that are not listed in the list provided by this company, I have successfully dried and placed in resin the following flowers: hibiscus, roses, azalea, geranium, daisies and more. I will not use any other product for my flowers because if they are not perfect, I cannot sell the items I make.

It leaked everywhere
Bag was punctured. I left a trail as brought it in the house. Didn't know till I hit the hard wood floor and heard it. A lot is in my carpet. So I'm not getting 4 pounds. :(

Good product
I am a crafter. I use this product to fill pin cushions. It will not rust you pins and needles. Crystals are easy to work with.

Exactly as described & good quality
Purchased this as an additive to fabricate heat resistant bricks for a DIY foundry. Granules are very fine like playground sand and much easier to dissolve than standard silica gel. Large bulk bag provides lots of material to make many many bricks in the future. Perfect for my use.

Worked well. (Was cheaper at Michael's in Calgary - albeit the gas to get there & back!)
Like the fact that it is reusable!
