Excellent super hot glue gun for professional work
Needed a professional glue gun for two chairs I was reupholsteringn to attach the welting. My craft glue guns were not going to cut it. This glue gun is super hot!! ???? Make sure you take precautions and protect your hands and fingers. This glue gun is excellent, hot, and produced very little glue strings. So happy I purchased it.

Update
Absolutely no instructions on the box so I had to do some research as to what size glue sticks. Then I tried to get the glue to flow and nothing happened, even after I let it set for 15 minutes. Then I thought maybe the nozzle was restricted so I unscrewed the end of the nozzle only to find that it was actually a cap for the nozzle. With this cap removed the glue flowed flawlessly. Would have been a whole lot stressful. Just received the replacement for the defective one I returned. It performed perfectly. Glad I stuck with this model. The only issue I have is with the company. When I discovered that there was something wrong with the first one,I reached out to the company through Amazon’s page as well as a phone call, and never received a response.

Excellent
It's very sturdy on it's stand. It heats quickly and puts out a lot of glue. The trigger operates smoothly and it's big. Yes, it is a big glue gun! Like the box says, it's a four finger trigger. That said, it feels comfortable in my hand. I used it to carpet a bunch of cat steps and perches. I am glad I brought it.

Awesome
This works great... if your are used to applying an adhesive, clamping it down and waiting.... the wait is over !! Glue it hold in place long enough for it to cool and your up and running ....!

Heats Fast, Goes through Glue Fast - No waiting in between new glue sticks
I love this gluegun! I'm using it to fill silicone molds for Christmas ornaments. I'm going through hundreds of gluesticks a week. This gluegun is fast and does the job perfectly! It leaks a little, but so do all the others!

Takes too long to cool down
Received my HD250 hot glue gun today, so I gave it a try it took about 5 minutes to heat up seemed to work just fine, lots of glue with little effort. However after it was turned off the top of the barrel remained extremely hot, it took a good 30 minutes for it cool to the point where you could touch or handle it without burning yourself, So 45 minutes till you could safely put it away, that might be a deal breaker for me I just might be returning it. Would't recommend using this gun around kids, handle with care !

At Last, a Fan of Glue Guns
Best ever in a long sad line of previously owned toy glue guns. One of the best features of this model, is the very positive glue stick advancing mechanism. When the installed glue stick is consumed to the point that it no longer advances, simply insert a fresh stick and keep on gluing without interruption. No messing around trying to bond new stick to old, or trying to hold the work piece, pull the trigger, and keep pressure on the new stick using only two hands. The gun holds its temp well with minimum standby dribble, but when the trigger is pulled, this baby delivers some very hot product, which definitely helps ensure a firm bond. The first test of this was to hold a slightly bowed piece of 3/4" plastic lumber flat against a flatter fir board in order to resurface the plastic lumber through a thickness sander, (to prepare a small sign). The approx 2" dia spot of hot glue not only held the plastic lumber flat against the fir board during the sanding, but tore away some splinters of wood from the fir board during removal. This even after applying denatured alcohol which normally acts as a pretty good release agent for hot glue bond. One of my pet peeves of previous glue guns is the instability of most while on standby. It seems that it was always too easy to somehow tip many of these toy guns over, off the table, under the workbench, etc. This model has addressed standby probably as well as I've seen done. The removable stand under the grip, and the flip down stand under the nozzle, make the standby mode almost "bomb proof" while pretty well staying out of the way while actually gluing. Also this gun while not at all "heavy", is somewhat heavier than most, which also seems to make the standby mode more secure. One con however is the rubber overlay on the palm side of the pistol grip. It is supposed to be held in place by numerous little nubbins fitting into slots in the plastic grip. The nubbins on my model neither seem to fit nor grip, but certainly not a deal breaker. With or without the rubber overlay, for the price, the best glue gun I've encountered.

An Excellent Glue Gun
I looked for quite awhile before settling on this AdTech Pro 200 glue gun as there's plenty of cheaper guns on the market but this came highly reviewed and 3M themselves rebrand this very glue gun to sell with some types of their own glue sticks so it seemed like the perfect choice. That proved to be true as combined with high strength glue sticks from either Stanley or DeWalt I've repaired plenty of items with this glue gun. Plus unlike cheap guns I've used in the past, once this gun is hot it can really push glue. With shorter sticks it's actually not that hard to use up a stick quite quickly. Plus while this gun is corded, it retains heat very well so if don't have a wall socket near your project, you can still push glue with this gun unplugged for a solid couple of minutes without issue so be careful where you leave this while it's cooling down as it does take awhile. In short I couldn't ask for a better glue gun as while I don't have cause to use a glue gun most days, it's good to know that should the need arise to repair something that hot glue can fix, I have a reliable glue gun at the ready.

It is not great at all !!
I am NOT happy with this product at all !! The glue hardly comes out, even after 4 minutes of warming up. If you need a lot of glue fast, this is NOT the gun for you. Small amounts of glue at a time. Over all, I would not purchase this glue gun. You could get a better one at Walmart.

I want it hotter and with an on off switch
It’s a handy gun but two things I’d like to change. It to get hotter as the glue is slow to come out and I use it for art and it’s not doing what I need it to do. Also there’s no on off switch. Also the glue doesn’t come out fast enough! I give it a 6 out of 10.

FAULTY PRODUCT NEED REPLACEMENT
I purchased the product because I was hoping that it would be a reliable hence the price I paid for the product. This glue gun just broke down last week and I see that I cannot return it. What happened was that the glue stopped coming out the hole that it is supposed to come out and started coming out the back with the glue stick goes in!! What I would appreciate is that if you could just replace the thing as it is faulty. I can take a picture and show you what is happening with it. Please let me know at bmmcdade@sapl.ca with an answer. I hope you can accommodate my request. Not impressed right now with the product.

Doesn’t feed smoothly. But most guns don’t so idk.
Would be great but it has a real problem feeding the next stick when the last bit of the previous stick is about to run out. Doesn’t really grab and feed the next stick in very well. If you hold upside down the stick can fall out because it is not held well until it is partially fed into the gun you would think the back ring would hold the stick but no. Other than that it’s totally fine.
