Great boots with flaws
I really love these boots. I've worn quite a few in my career and these are my second favorite. However, they're not perfect. I've been wearing these for about 4 months daily, and I can already see them wearing down. The threads around the toe box started to come loose so i had to reach inside and pull them back tight, and then dropped a drop of super glue to keep them in place. The inside isnt the greatest. It's just rubber so if your feet are sweating they will come out of the boots when you take them off at the end of the day. I swapped them out almost immediately. I will say that if you have the budget, you should just buy Lowa Zephyrs. They're more comfortable, and more durable.

stitching issue
disappointed in a great product, have worn for less than a week and side stitching on the left shoe started coming out. (worn in a hospital setting) I have had Altama products in the past and have gotten years of service from them. This happened in a week under light work conditions i do not expect them to hold up well in the long run. Maybe i just got a fluke shoe, i suggest a thorough inspection upon receipt to other shoppers.

Best work shoes
I decided to buy a second pair after being impressed with the comfort and durability of the ones I got 7 mo ago I I usaly go through shoes fast but besides some wear at the ball of the foot they are fine, ice diesel mud alot safer than athletic shoes and they look new with a quick cleaning

Exceeded Expectations
I've seen the hype around these boots and was skeptical in pulling the trigger on them. I ended up buying them because I was taking a flight to California/Yosemite and wanted a light boot to travel with. All I can say is "wow", I was completely blown out of the water with these. I changed the insole (like many recommend) with those inside my combat boots and I had very few problems. I brought a spare pair of shoes on my trip that I didn't even touch because these boots impressed me that much. Highly recommend if you're looking for a light boot that you can use for any purpose and not break the bank. I would not use these to replace a combat boot, however.

Order big in x and y
Did my homework and it paid off. I ordered a half size up and wide. Had these been the length or width of most my footwear they would not have fit comfortably. Only one minor gripe and it happens with lots of footwear is the tongues migrate to one side and won't stay centered. All in all, life is good!

We can do better than this!
First of all love these shoes! Been rocking the black for a long time now got the coyote tan/brown. I feel like this is a different quality completely. Here is a pic comparing 2 right foots. One is nice and uniform other one is very swayed left. Now if I had gotten second pair and it did same thing fine but we can do better than this. Either way problem is resolved. Would definitely get more in future but being cautious or trying in store.

Not for wide feet
I really wanted to like these shoes. Unfortunately the wide's are still too tight for wide feet.

Well Done! switched laces under to over fit perfectly now! Toughest sneaker I've ever owned
These have been Awesome! Dry quick/quick break in. If you've owned the old altama jungle boots they should be close to true size. I wore 9w jungles and bought these in 9 reg. I noticed they pinched a little at the laces out of the box but if you replace them over rather than under the eyelets it fixed the issue immediately. They grip surprisingly well on the rocks and the nylon holds up very well compared to canvas. I've worn them through swamp/mud/and several fishing trips on the coast haven't shown any real wear other than scuffs on the rubber toe. Happy customer here! Included a picture of the lacing that fixed the only issue I had for anyone else having binding.
