In fact, the company was the first manufacturer to produce router bits according to the Holz BG German standard for safety and quality. This standard contains rules that determine the structure and quality of the tool's material in order to create the safest environment for the user. From its beginning, Amana Tool has always used the highest quality materials, and its tools are produced using unique technologies, a majority of which were developed and built by the company's engineers following decades of testing and experience. For example, Amana Tool uses carbon alloy steel for its router bits that contains vanadium particles. This improves the structural integrity of the steel and prevents corrosion and defects in the internal structure of the material that can lead to cracks and breaks. High-tech machinery processes the carbon alloy steel to manufacture the router bodies in a single clamping. This yields router bits with superior balance, centricity, precision and symmetry. The basic edge-forming bit, the corner-rounding bit rounds an edge to a given radius. The tool is shouldered to cut a fillet. The cut can be used to ease edges, as a simple profile, or as a part of a complex one. Also known as roundover, rounding over, and quarter-round. If a smaller pilot bearing is used, a second shoulder can be produced, in effect making the bit a beading bit.

A rare and wonderful find
I love Amana Tool bits. They are strong and last a long time. This one is no exception and gives me that wonderful 1/16" round-over I was looking for on some wall sconces that I am fabricating. I used this to put a 1/16" round edge on 12" x 4" x 1/4" beech wood planks as a base for my sconces. In my opinion, the 1/16" uniform route created by this tool looks way better than the other choices for this European Beech, such as 1/8" round-over or simply breaking the hard edge with sand paper. With the thinner 1/4" material, the edge created by this bit is definitely noticeable, if not preferred as previously mentioned. Shipping was fast, great price for this hard to find bit, created by a reputable and trust-worthy company. Almost every bit I own is made by Amana Tool, safe for one bit, my compression (up/down combination spiral) which is made by Align Carbide, simply because the Amana Tool compression bits are more than double the cost ranging from $50 USD all the way up to $200 USD for a single bit (depending on width, length, coating, and type of material you intend to cut).

This bit rocks.
This is being used on aluminum and it has no problems whatsoever. This thing is going to rock over the long term because of the 4 cutting edges and hi quality carbide

Amana is my go-to for router bits
Amana router bits are my go to and this one was no exception. Performed perfectly for the application of creating a bullnose for stair treads. These are priced higher but worth it because the quality is high and longevity of the bit pays for itself.

Amana vs Freud 4 flute
Good router bit but still prefer the freud quadra-cut round over bit and is only $29 instead of $45. But still a quality product.
