Low budget tool
This blowgun feels like a cheap import knock-off, but I think there is hope. The valve assembly is brass and appears to be usable as it is. The worst feature is the lever, it’s flopping around as if the wrong size tubular rivet was used for the pivot. (see Before and After picture). Not only is the handle loose on the rivet, but the rivet is super loose in the die cast body. I removed the rivet and sure enough, the pivot is a .187” (3/16”) rivet and the handle has .203” holes and the body is .212” dia. Explains why everything is so loose. With the handle off two casting sprues were uncovered that had to be dremeled flush, and the handle had to be squeezed down from the .540” it measured to about .495” to fit snugly on the body. Then drill the body to 15/64” and the handle to 7/32”, deburr the sharp edges that had been left on the handle from their forming operation, and reassemble with a 7/32” roll pin (slotted spring pin) and grind the ends to slightly above flush. (Next time I’d go a little smaller on the hole in the body, try a #1-.228” drill) The handle has much less slop now, and the hardened steel roll pin is a better solution than the tubular rivet. There’s no reason for this blow gun to be assembled so poorly, shame on Amflo to buy such junk and market it under what used to be a quality name. But the reviews say most have good luck with the life of the valve assembly, and I’m satisfied with the results of stabilizing the handle. I do think this product is 2x or more overpriced considering the poor build quality.

Extra strong
I noticed my co worker's blowgun was considerably stronger than any other I had seen. It was an Amflo 201. So I had to buy my own. Two things to know about this item however: 1) This blowgun doesn't have the safety bypass that most other blowguns have. It's not OSHA compliant unless you are using an air compressor that's 30psi or less. It can handle up to 150 I've read but it won't be what OSHA considers safe. Maybe it's the increased power or the increased noise, this thing is pretty loud. 2) There is a warning on the box that says that touching the brass parts will expose you to lead. That being said, this is the best blowgun I've ever had.

Pretty solid so far
I have had some bad experiences with other blowgun style attachments leaking in the past and reviews for just about every product in this category complain about air leaks. I am happy to report that this product has not leaked at all since I purchased it.

High flow, questionable design and finishing
This blowgun does have high flow. My last similar style gun had slightly lower volume. This gun had rough casting seams, and required filing to not abrade my hands after using it for a while. The hanging hook on this unit is also stubbier than my last, and it falls off its hanging nail easily. All in all, I wouldn't buy these again. I prefer my older, box store special I think. I use it to dry items after washing off polishing compound during fine finish polishing and inspection. Also used to clean grit and chips off during machining.

Dinged up...bought new but seems to be used
The first thing I noticed is the box it comes in has been taped all up to keep the product from coming out or so I thought, but once I take it out of the box its all dinged up, scraped, and scratched as though its been used and the only things that appear new on it are the rubber tip and the lever. It works fine, is heavy duty, but what I don't like about this order is that it came to me appearing as though it was used.

Matco Truck
Same gun as I bought off the Matco truck. Will have to buy another as I have a habit of losing them.
