Better air filtration

Was seeking a better whole house filter.

Effective Life Much Shorter than Replacement Cycle

This filter is quite effective for a month or two. By 6 months, odors may be lingering for longer than they do with standard filters. After replacement, the house smells pleasant again. It must fight against one of the worst new home requirements ever, that of forcing air from the outside 24 hours a day, regardless of skunks, those that park in front of our house leaving the engine running for as much as 30 minutes before driving off, the smoke from a nearby garden center, etc., let alone when it is much too hot or cold. The price is exceedingly high to have to replace much more often than a standard filter. Four stars because it works at least for a while and therefore, I'll buy it again.

We have German shepherd and huge yard so there is dust and pet Hair. Don't think it's worth the price..but works alright

This filter was over $100 dollars vs the other filters at $20. I would like to have an alternative.

Not sure if this is same as stated…last one I received was black insert with this one grey - will see if it works the same as it is pricey but worth it, if it works as my last one!

Less than five minutes to install

Had bad smell of mold in home that would not go away. Placed the filter and the next day home was clean of any orders. The filter has charcoal impregnated on the top It is good for a bout 6 months and then it needs to be replaced according to the information on the box.
