It is heavy, for sure
I bought this for my 7 yr old because he is tall and broad and husky. The sleeves are quite long compared to expected—which makes it hard for him to put on and take off without help. His teacher of course is not a fan. The hand-holes are a bit small. My son has broad hands like his dad and he has to force his hands through the hand-holes. I may have to cut them to allow enough room for him. Overall it was a decent buy and it is defo warm—just the fit is difficult.

Doesn’t last, ripped after 3 months
We live an area that has milder winters and it was only wore for 3 months before ripping open all over on the back, exposing the insulation. Did the job as we get single digits and regularly negative temps but just didn’t hold up like it should have for the cost.

Good ski jacket
My son uses this jacket for skiing. Keeps him warm and dry. He likes it

Extremely heavy duty
I actually sent this back - very heavy and stiff. I can't imagine kids wearing this and playing in the snow with it. Good for snowmobiling maybe?

Impressed
Pretty heavy duty coat. My 9 year old son loves it and will be able to wear next year aswell. Great value for this coat and keeps him warm. This mom is happy.

We love this jacket
My son is very picky and this was a win for us! It keeps him warm in our Minnesota cold. This is the only brand for us!

Read before purchasing!!!
Love the coat but the zipper was broken when it arrived. I wish we had read the other reviews as this appears to be a common issue. My son is 9. We got a 14 and it fits perfectly so order a size up if you are a person who can fix the zipper yourself.

Heavy jacket
Jacket looked nice and would keep you warm but it is heavy. The xl would fit a petite size 4 or 6 adult woman.

Totally too small ... But coat is warm with good zipper
ARCTIX Unisex-Child Tundra coat I bought size 14-16. It is for my son that is 12. Fits way too small. I was hoping to up size to get a baggier fit so that he can wear his hoodie underneath. But the arms JUST fit and it's still a tight fit. My son is 5'1" 100lbs. 12 years old .. and 14-16 fits tight !!!! Definitely not going to be able to wear this after another 2 months when he grows more. The coat is decent though. Heavy duty zipper that zips smoothly. Warm for most temperatures in the winter but I do think for super crazy cold days I do think a good thick hoodie is needed underneath! This isn't top end well made ultra warm winter kcoat. I would say just average neutral style coat. Can I recommend this coat? Well. It's about pricing to be honest . I've seen this exact coat for more than 100$. And then at time of my purchase it was 70. For 70$ it's fair and a decent winter coat provided it fits. I'm a bit unhappy about the sizing. It's totally not fit to size. If you're only able to find this coat at +100$ I can't recommend it and you should look elsewhere.

Zipper doesn’t work 1/2 way
Cannot find any information to contact seller to try and exchange. Zipper only goes up 1/2 way and gets stuck. Very heavy, skidoo coat weights less!

Appears to be cheaply made
We've owned this jacket (boy, 8 years old) and have had it for less than two weeks and already one of the front pocket buttons has fallen off and the seem on the back has come undone. We're going to replace it with the same jacket and just see if it was a defective jacket that we received. If the next one lasts longer than a couple of weeks I may update this review with new information.

Size is not as written.
I got this for my 13yr old tall but thin son but it is right on his hands.

Not the best stitching
Initially looks like great quality but then after a month stitching came out everywhere- my kid was bummed as he loved the look of this coat.
