Not a real comforter -- more like a thin mattress.

My husband picked out this comforter and I purchased it as we were preparing to move to our new home. When I got around to putting it on the bed, I realized that it does not have batting or filling in the comforter -- it has foam rubber! I don't know what planet they live on, but on my planet, comforters are supposed to be comfortable. You can't fold this comforter because it's like folding a very thin mattress. I am giving it 2 stars because it is beautiful, but for $500+, trust me, you can do much better than this. I'm completely disappointed in this brand and Amazon. Unfortunately, I bought two comforters and sheets and there is something wrong with all of them.

Lovely, but not long-lasting

The set is beautiful. However, the bedspread quickly ripped and is falling apart.
