The Bar Fly 4 MTB is an “over the stem” mount compatible with all sizes of cycling computers. The modular system mounts your computer, Camera or Light to your bike. This out-front mount is compatible with 31.8mm and 35.0mm handlebars. BF4 MTB holds your computer behind the bars, over the stem. This position is safest for flat bars that don’t have “drops” for out-front protection. Swap the computer head for the included GoPro base and add your camera or light with compatible GoPro adapter. BF4 MTB bike mount is constructed from an advanced injection moulded co-polymer that is strong and weatherproof. The MTB bike mount can accommodate three different accessories at a time: computer, light, or camera. BF4 MTB is compatible with all bicycle GPS computers from Garmin, Wahoo, Bryton, Cateye, Polar, Mio, Joule, and (optional) Lezyne. BF4 MTB mounts on the right side of the stem and may conflict with electronic shifting display. If using electronic shifting, try BF4 Stem Cap Mount. Hammerhead computers fit Garmin head. Newer Pioneer computers fit Wahoo head. The computer clears the top of the mount, so even large computers are compatible. Included in the box: BF4 MTB composite mount with hardware, 7 Computer heads: Garmin, Polar, Wahoo, Mio, Joule, Cateye, Bryton, GoPro Base, Universal Light Mount, shim for 31.8 handlebars. Some bike light companies include a GoPro adapter, others offer it as an option (optional Lezyne head available).

Great garmin mount

Love this mounting solution. I have it on both my gravel and mountain bikes. Love the fact that it keeps your head unit over the stem, instead of out front of the bars…..

Overpriced but very nice

Very slick and quality mount. Way too expensive but 35mm clamp mounts hard to come by at the time. It’s very nice and overall happy with the purchase but seems like you pay for all the extra accessories you will never use

Don't listen to the lame quality issues..

This unit is strong and secure..I use it with a Garmin 530..I bomb down ski slopes, ride gnarly x country, crash, burn, and it's still secure..It won't break unless you hit a truck head on, so don't do that..

Comes loose while riding

Mine didn't come with the write size shim for 31.8mm, but I don't think that would make a difference. I have a stem with a weird cut out on the sides of the bar clamp. So the bracket sets to the side and moves to the thinner part of the bar. I would have to replace the stem for it to work.

Not exactly pretty, but gets the job done

I'll admit that I love bike jewelry and when I buy an accessory I generally will opt for one that puts form right behind function. The Bar Fly 4 puts function well ahead of form with just barely a nod to aesthetics, sadly, especially for a part that sits right under my nose. At the same time it gets the job done very well. As secure as if it were welded to the handlebar, rust proof and fits both 35mm and 31.8mm bar diameters. Holds my Wahoo Elemnt solidly and comes with a pile of other adapters for other bike computers.

Works great

I have a Garmin Montana 610 GPS (a beast). Garmin has their own handlebar mount cradle that works pretty good, but you cant really get it over the stem on a 35mm bar. I was able to remove the Garmin cradle from the Garmin mount and drill two holes through the cradle to match this Barfly mount. Now I can securely carry my old-school beast of a GPS on my 35mm bar, centered over the stem. Very happy with the result, and the Barfly mount has been carrying this heavy GPS over some very rough terrain all summer without fail.

Love on MTB

Love this little guy to mount Garmin computer on mountain bike. Works for both the Garmin 800 and 1030, holding them rock steady The only issue I have is the price. Paying nearly $40 for a plastic mount is a bit high. I know it comes with 10 different adapters but why not just make a model for each brand instead of giving me 9 pieces I don’t need?

Perfect fit for 35 mm handlebars

The ideal mount for mountain and fat bikes with wider diameter handlebars. I particularly like the way it positions the mount backwards over the stem.

Ben realizzato e funzionale

Supporto ben realizzato e funzionale, io lo utilizzo con Garmin sulla mia MTB che avendo una pipa piuttosto corta non mi consentiva di posizionare bene il gps, all'interno della confezione ci sono gli adattatori per ogni tipo di marca, se proprio si volesse fare una miglioria metterei la viteria in ergal o titanio per risparmiare un pò di peso.

Great product, strong build. Would recommend.

I like the device. Holds my Garmin Edge 530 securely. This is my second one. First broke in a crash. So this is not indestructible. If it happens again I will look for a mount on the actual stem and not the bars.

Rígido y resistente

Perfecto para colocar el Garmin sobre la potencia de la MTB, muy rígido y cero vibraciones, además queda muy discreto. El único pero es que es un poco caro... pero lleva varios adaptadores para colocar casi cualquier cosa.
