Fantastic pump for my fountain!
The media could not be loaded. I had a Beckett fountain pump for years when we bought this fountain. It finally gave out. I replaced with a different brand and it wasn't anywhere near as good as Beckett. I bought this one and it is perfect. Enough power for the fountain with an extra long cord. I'm very happy to have my fountain functional again!

They usually last several years even if on year round.
When mine died the first replacement I got broke I. A month but Inthink it was just a lemon as my Beckett pumps usually last several years with year round use.

Mine only lasted …. 10 years!
A lot of folks complaining about their pumps not working after few months. I’m writing this review to report mine just stopped working after 10 years! I’ll take that every time. To be fair, if you are looking for a pump to run a fountain four to five months out of the year (not constantly), sit out in cold to freezing weather a good part of the rest of the year and get 10 years out of a $35 pump- this is the one for you. I will be purchasing another.

Big stream from little giant !
Needed a small pump to add air to pond. This pump produces a 12-18 inch fountain . Only con is it is difficult to clean but once i figured how to remove trap i can hose it down. I can now recommend with 2 thumbs up!!!

Works well
I bought this pump as a replacement for a Beckett 250 gph pump that failed after a few years of use. The old pump began to trip the GFI because of water leaking into the pump. I dried it out and sealed it with silicone cement and it worked for about a week before dying. Because the 16 foot line cord passes underground beneath plants and a sidewalk and then up from underneath our fountain it was simpler to splice the line cord onto the new pump. But because the cord is submerged under water one has to be careful when making the splice. I carefully measured the pieces of heat shrink tubing that would be used, then soldered the wires, applied a heat gun to the heat shrink tubing, and finally sealed the splice with silicone cement. The old and new cords matched in terms of color coding and diameter, and the cement had no problem adhering to the sleeve of the cords. I refilled the fountain, adjusted the flow rate, and our fountain is now working again. This pump is the newer version of Beckett's old 250 gph pump, and appears to work fine.

We aren't using it in a fountain, but it works perfect for our application!
We purchased this pump as the power for a homemade water table. My husband created the idea of the water table for our kids based on another idea online, and this was the pump we chose. It was first used last summer, and used many times last summer and already several times this summer. We have it submerged in a large plastic bin with a shallower plastic bin sitting on top. There are four small pipes coming off of this fountain pump to shoot the water out the top bin. Then there are 4 standpipes in the corner of the top shallower bin to allow water to drain into the bottom (and back to the pump.) The pump has worked flawlessly. Even when our kids accidentally let the water level get pretty low in the bottom part, due to shooting too much water overboard, the pump keeps going, and we add more water to prevent it from running totally dry. So I would say we are possibly even abusing the pump from time to time, and it still works great. Granted, we are not running it for very long periods of time day in and day out, but for our application, this pump has the perfect water flow and works great!

Works great until it fails! I got six months out of mine...
Purchased April, 2022. Placed in service ran great. By October, 2022 the impeller blades were jamming and the pump would not start reliably. Finally two blades broke off. I could find no physical reason for this defect, there was no foreign body caught in the chamber. I wouldn't mind so much except that to install a replacement I have to lift the concrete basin of my fountain, a very hard job requiring pry bars, lumber and nerve. Oh well...

Great product, easy to use
I like the suction power of this device. I have a medium sized pond out back, and it takes care of the whole thing.
