Pump lasted 1 year and 3 months
My model 566612 Little Giant came with my Henri fountain. It lasted 1 year and 3 months. It never ran dry or was abused and the only water treatment I use is bromine like I put in my spa. The unfortunate thing is that the pump is in a cavity at the base of my fountain, and you have to take the fountain apart to change the pump. Thus, Henri screwed up their fountain design and the Little Giant failure means difficult maintenance that may have to be performed much more frequently than I anticipated. While it worked, it was a superb pump.

It worked as a direct replacement to an older model.
This was bought as a direct replacement to an older model in a garden fountain. I swapped out the old one and replaced with the new model. Everything fit as before.

LASTED 9 YEARS CONTINUOUS OPERATION!
My fountain recently stopped working. I investigated, took things apart, and found that my pump had finally gone bad. I got onto Amazon to get another - searched my past orders - and found out that the pump that just died was purchased NINE YEARS AGO. This is 9 years CONTINUOUS operation, year round, in Ohio weather which is cold, hot, rainy, dry, etc. I wish everything I bought would last so long.

How do I contact warranty?
I loved the power of this pump and used it in a small koi pond. It would not work this spring and kicks my breaker. How do I contact the company for warranty information. I've had it less than a year. My other pump on the same circuit is still running. This one fits my pump box perfectly and really moves the water.

Updated: High quality pump, better than Beckett pumps??????????????
This pump is excellent quality, on par with the Becket brand pumps I have purchased in the past. Its flow rate is great with the 5 ft lift in my fountain. Time will tell if the pump out lasts the Becket pumps that I typically got 2-3 years out of. I will update this review when my pump fails. I have seen some reviews saying people have gotten over 7 years of service with the Little Giant pumps, that would be great, we will see. One other thing to note: I live in western Washington state where we have fairly mild winters, so I leave my pump in the fountain year round just making sure that it does not freeze solid on those rare cold snaps. Update: This pump lasted 5 years running 24/7. Spendy pump but I have not found a better one, and I have been trying for 15 years now. I cant help but wonder about the negative reviews I have read; the only thing I can think of that they let the pump dry out. Submersible pumps should not be allowed to dry out after they have been in service.. I would love to find a pump in the $50 range that performed nearly as well or lasted nearly as long, so if anyone knows of one. let me know please.

Used for circulation of a lubricant. Runs 8hrs a day 5 days a week with no problems.
