Long Term Use Review - Exceptionally Reliable

I purchased this Power Strip Surge Protector on February 19, 2010 for $14.49 shipped. It's been my main power strip for my entertainment center ever since and is still going strong! It's survived through 3 TVs (currently a 55" Samsung Q80R), many hours of movie watching and gaming on Wii, Switch, PS3, PS4, PS5 and a plethora of other consoles, all with an audio receiver and has never skipped a beat. If it ever gives out, I will be purchasing another. Pros: - Reliable! - Slim design fits most places. - 90 degree plug. - 8 outlets with 4 spaced out for large power bricks. Cons - None

Does its job!!!

My son is a IT expert and got us several of these because we had lost several appliances etc. due to electrical surges from storms. These works as they should and sacrificed themselves to save us hundreds of dollars! I now keep several on hand in case I need to replace them. You will not be sorry you chose these.

The 12 gauge wire was a real advantage together with the surge protector make me feel much more protected against surges

Belkin Surge Protector 8 outlets

Have had it for a couple of weeks. Using it to protect a cable modem and mesh router. The large adapters for these two items cover some of the adjacent outlets but not an issue for my use-only if you really needed to plug in eight things. There is an led to let you know it has power, and an indicator to let you know if your outlet is not grounded. There is a plastic cable management piece on one end but it is easy to remove if it its in your way. I have not had a power surge yet that I know of to know how well it works. I bought this for the Belkin name and the relatively high joule rating.

Vale más la pena cuando está en oferta (me costó como 400). No estoy tan seguro que que tanto proteja porque me prende el foquito de que no está conectado a tierra, lo compré más que nada por las salidas y el precio, viendo que mucha gente dice que no le sirve, viene abierto, usado, o el paquete está maltratado, buscaría otro protector, no quiero decir que este en particular esté mal o no funcione, pero como se vende como un protector y hay muchas quejas de control de calidad revisaría otras marcas, la calidad es algo baja como para pagar el precio normal por ella, el plástico se siente muy barato y no menciona nada de proteger contra el fuero o ser retardante.

Durable quality very pleased this replaced a 10+ year old power bar that was handed down to me.

Likes: Has telephone jack for routers/landlines. Can be grounded which is a huge bonus. (Provided where it is plugged in is grounded.) Its price is great for what we get, I've never had a single problem with my Belkin 6 headphone splitter I got back in high-school, still use it to this day and I'm sure this power bar will be no different. Dislikes: Only one, it was quite stiff fitting in not only the wall but its ports, be advised you're going to need a bit of force to get the plugs oriented.

Maltratado y con plásticos de mala calidad.

En primer lugar el artículo fue enviado desde Las Vegas en un sobre, el cual llegó abierto, la caja del producto venía bastante maltratada y por la decoloración de la caja me hace pensar que este artículo llevaba bastante tiempo guardado o en exhibición. Al abrir la caja el artículo venía con varios raspones, y cuando le conecté una clavija de celular, al momento de rerirarla se le cayó el protector de los enchufes. En fin, el material de construcción no se siente de buena calidad, y el botón de Reset y off se siente que se va a descomponer pronto.

Good, but plugs are close

I don't know what with all the large plugs these days and going in all directions. I wanted this behind my TV and have 4 big plug 3 regular and 1 phone charger size. The big plugs were far apart, but I had to break off the cable holder on the end (which appears useless anyways. I was able with some negotiating to get all my plugs in, but still tights. So just be warned. Beyond that Belkin makes great power bars and I expect this to hold up like my others

Good surge protector

This is well built, although it's bigger than I expected. The included cable management system is OK but you don't have to use it (it comes off if you don't need it). The flat plug is a good touch, as are the broadly spaced sockets which make room for wall-warts and other oddly sized plugs.
