Slides on hardwood floor

The blanket is so airy and the back is so slick that the little pawprints can’t do anything. It would probably work on a couch or bed, but not on the floor. I ended up pinching it in place with the couch legs. The material is as good as the comfort bed, no problem there.

My dog hates it. Really crinkly, and not as plush as expected

The waterproof material is very stiff and crinkly, which I should have expected but other reviews downplayed it so I thought it wouldn’t be as bad as it is. The blanket also isn’t as plush as I expected, there’s just the waterproof backing, no liner, then the faux fur top. It also feels like there’s a weird film on it, I can feel it on my hands after touching it. Not sure if the the film or the crinkling that makes my dog hate it, but he will not lay on the blanket, he wants nothing to do with it. I’m going to try washing it to see if that helps with any of these issues.

Quality!

This throw/blanket wasn't an immediate "like" for my great pyrenees but she's a little neurotic and with the heavy duty waterproof backing it makes "crinkle" noise so she was hesitant. Once she put on her big girl pants and jumped up on it you could see immediately how comfy she was and fell right to sleep. Very well made and Smokey approved.. I see a very long and happy relationship between Smokey and her new blanky.

All of my pups APPROVE!

Love this! Pups love it and it’s large enough for all 3 of our dogs to snuggle up. I have had to wash and dry it multiple times and it comes out brand new every time! It’s thinner for sure but I think that’s what stops it from truly absorbing the smells and keeping it easy to clean. My pups are happy and that makes me happy!

Not as Cute as I Hoped!

Not as luxurious ( thick ) as I’d hoped. As you can see in the pic my dog does not prefer to lay on it. It makes a crinkly sound and despite the slip proof paws on the back it does not stay in place. It also sheds the fur. Disappointed for the money spent. And I got 2! Keeping because it’s better than nothing and hoping that they soften up with use.

The perfect dog blanket

I have a border collie who I can’t keep off the bed. This blanket is the perfect solution. This company makes her favorite donut cuddler dog bed and she is almost as in love with the blanket as she is with the bed. The top of the blanket is super soft, fuzzy and fleecey. I expecting just a blanket, as I have bought a throw from the same company for the couch that Is like that. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the bottom is made of a water proof material. It also has little grippy paw prints that help it to stay on the bed. All in all I love this blanket and so does my border collie.
