Fits perfectly and the adapter works super well!
I'm a shorter guy and needed to pull my stem in quite a bit to give me a more upright riding position. This stem did just the trick and fits the aesthetic of my bike really well. The adapter works great and holds my 25.4mm bars in place, even putting my full weight on them - no slipping whatsoever!

works well for a commuter bike.
I bought this stem to account for a gary fisher paragon 29er's exceptionally long top tube. I have a 25.4 diameter handlebar and the shims to make it fit (it is designed for 31.8) work great!. No complaints for this stem. paint seems to be of good quality and no problems with slippage.

Pain chips off in one ride
Great fit and plenty strong, but the paint will come off quickly so expect the stem to be silver after a season.

Too much
This stem is too long, too bulky and HEAVY! Every little bit of weight savings is important.

Came scratched up!
Good working piece but it came dented and scuffed with the paint chipped. It would have been 5 stars but i was using this as a showoff piece and now i have one with a chip in the paint. I need it so i wont return it, but i would like the seller to make it right somehow. Maybe a refund or even a partial refund. Depending on that i will reevaluate my rating of this product.
