Helping the environment
We use these bags in our compost container at our sink. It’s better for us to put food scraps in there and replace it daily than to put the food scraps in our large kitchen can and have it start to smell real bad until it’s full enough to empty. I feel good about the fact that the material breaks down easily which certainly benefits the environment.

A bit small for our trashcan, otherwise good
Despite getting the 13 gal bag for our 13 gal trashcan, the bag won't fit around the lip of the can without tearing because of how far it needs to get stretched. As a result, the bag has less integrity than it should. Other than this, we are pleased with the product and will move to the next size up for our next purchase of these bags.

Bags that fit my can!
These bags are stretchy enough that they fit my tall kitchen garbage can without tearing. I do wish they had ties or extra flaps that could be used for tying….if it gets too full, there’s no way to close the bag.

Too small for 12 gal
I'm ok with the thin porous material but the bag itself is too small for my simplehuman 12 gallon slim trash can. I'm switching products to find something that doesn't fall out of its position because it's too short.

Seems like the material has changed
I like these bags, but something changed recently in the materials used and they no longer fit my tall kitchen trash bin. I have to stretch the bag to fit and it often tears. The previous shipment was fine and it's sold as the same product. Hopefully they will go back to the previous material or make a slightly larger size in this quantity and price range.

It sort of does the job…
I think the biggest annoyance I have with this product is the fact that it has 0 give. My family bought this to make taking out our compost easier, but it also tears very easily. We learned this the hard way. So instead of being able to take a full bag out, we have to drag the whole bin out. Obviously this isn’t the end of the world. The main reason we wanted to use these bags is so we don’t have to constantly be washing the trash bin out and having the compost smell when we have the bin inside for winter. The bag does trap some of the scent which is also nice. I feel like the negatives and the positives are sort of balanced, and so until I find a better compost bag that doesn’t rip as easily, we’re going to be using this one.

Stong
They are strong.

Disintegrate if left too long
I think it’s a decent product as long as you don’t forgot taking compost out each week. The moisture collected at the bottom will eventually wear the bag through after about a week.

Bags are not 49 liters
Bags are really 35 liters, 22x29 inches. Otherwise, they are typical compost bags, but they're nowhere as big as the promised 49 liters.

Not usable. Not recommended.
Bag rips easily. Garbage ends up in the bin or on the floor.
