Smells awful, works amazing

I wouldn't keep these right next to anywhere you plan on being for a while. Smells terrible but omg they work!

Works wonders!

Really does the job. Super smelly(as it’s supposed to be) so make sure to place far away from the house. We have been mostly fly free and it’s fabulous!

Stinks but works

I can’t add a photo, there are SO many flies in it, it’s disgusting! Does it work? Yes! We had some rando flies around our deck, put this out by the garden and they’re all there now, diving into this little pouchy death trap, and the fly population is not even noticeable. Does it smell? A bit, if you’re right by it- mostly after flies start dying in there. That’s gross, but true. But 10 feet away, you can’t smell it. I’ve had horses and gardened for years- there’s NO better fly trap out there. Better than fly tape, milk jugs of home remedies, and definitely better than the old “put pennies in a baggie “ wives tale. This brand is most cost effective, from what I could see. I’m very happy with these… I mean, as happy as a fly trap can make a gal! LOL

The fly traps work very well, but do not drop them when putting them up - the plastic will burst!

About 400 feet behind my house there is wetland. Because of that, there are many of different fly species, including biting flies to contend with. I start in the early Spring by putting up about 8 fly traps to surround the back yard which is about 36 thousand sq feet and replace them about once a month. By starting early, the fly population is kept incredibly low, so I rarely see them in the back yard. I have used other brands of traps in the past, but I like the screw top that Black Flag uses rather than the snap-in tops that occasionally leak or pop open. When I take them down, I put them into a gallon size Ziplock freezer bag and then 4 each, into a larger plastic trash bag. This contains them and prevents them from leaking into the trash can and attracting more flies. I also wear disposable rubber or latex gloves when I take them down. They have quite an odor by the time you are ready to replace them - that is what attracts them to the trap. I wish everything I bought worked as well as these!

Awesomely gross!

I am completely shocked by the amount of flies that fit into one of these bags. I kid you not it was at least 5 solid inches of flies. Just be sure to leave the fly bags not too close to the house!! I realized I had a fly problem as I started spending more time in my backyard, upgrading it, gardening, watching sunsets etc. Nothing is worse then when the flies come to try to enjoy it with you. I said absolutely not. I wanted something to capture and kill, but not look so gross like every other bug capture thing okay there. They really nailed it with the design on these. These works so good you'll have flies coming from every direction so as stated previously... be very mindful where you put them! Before moving them I had 5x the amount of bother, now it's moved and they're all attracted to the back where we don't go ????

Mixed Feelings.

I usually use another brand of fly traps but decided to give these a try due to the less noticeable color of them. First look I was very impressed with the opening. Other brands just pop into place and have the potential to leak but this one actually screws in which makes me feel WAY more comfortable come time to dispose of it. That is a big selling point for me. I do feel like the trap hasn’t caught as many flies as other brands do though. Maybe this one was just a dud and the next one will be better.
