Perfect
Purchased to add 'fret' lines to a DIY lap steel guitar build. I was meticulous about not over-stressing the bit in order to avoid breakage, it cut several fret boards, maybe 80-100 slots in Macassar Ebony and did not break. The cuts were clean and the bit still appears as-new. Recommended.

the picture does not match the item. I wanted to return the item with a replacement but doing so is actually sending me another item that will not meet my expectation. I do not know what to I can do, I can not return anymore the original sent item since I asked for a replacement and I canceled the replacement order since I figured out the wrong item (not the one I want) will are sent again. I am OK to return this item but wondering if I should still buy bits via Amazon. This is not the first time that images are deciding, I will write a review on sone scroll blades I got got last month that did not match the picture (in the terms of number of items per package)

Shank is too short for any router built on this planet.
shank is way too short for use in a normal sized router. if mounted optimally in a PC collet, you'll have 20% of your bit in the collet nut. If you mount it with the bit optimally exposed, you will have an empty gap in your collet seat by 3/8 of an inch, which will cause collet creep. Just for kicks, I put this in a Bosch 1/4 collet, same deal, way too short for either optimal cutting, vs. safe tool holding geometry. Not sure what this bit was designed for, but for 'routering' or using it in a normally available tool is kinda null. FYI description states this is a 2" bit in length, mine is 1.426", usable shank clamping zone is .758"

Strong Bit!
Our CNC Machine kept breaking other 1/16 bits we bought. This one is awesome. Super fine detail in a strong package - Perfect!

just what my designs required
i needed a small durable router bit for playing with my router and this exceeded expectations. Gives nice cut even in soft woods. I used it for routing designs.

this one went for 4 hours ( low feed) and is still good.
Ordered 2 brands at once to run on a concern table, cutting mdf. The other brand snapped in the first 10 minutes of cutting, this one went for 4 hours ( low feed) and is still good.

Great router bit
Cuts really cleanly on corian, still haven't had a chance to try it with solid wood yet, but I expect it to cut well
