Great for Halloween escape room!!

I absolutely love this! I bought this for my Halloween party to use in our escape room. We locked the light with a padlock in the off position, using flashlights they had to find they key to unlock padlock to turn on the light lol this worked great for what we used it for! And will use it again for years to come I’m sure!

Workes well for my purpose.

I teach middle school and have an interior classroom. Some students turn the lights off and it is pitch black and hard to find the door. This was very easy to install, fits fairly flat against the wall and is sturdy. So far problem solved. Another teacher installed one of the cage types of cover and the students broke it with little effort.

I purchased this Switch Lockout because I have some pranksters in my middle school classroom, imagine that ????. This lockout is a great solution. The maintenance man said it was very easy to install. He used a school lock given by my bookkeeper so the office can access if needed. I edged the plate with colorful tape to bring some style to these old walls and the device still looks official. Recommend!

Will your switches reach the 'lock'?

We were ready to have our switch 'locked' with this device, because the switch was occasionally turned off. It operates our Ring camera system, so it's important to stay on. Alas, I installed it, but saw that the lock did not operate as advertised; it does not reach the switch at all. A tiny finger or something thin could easily switch it off and/or on.... If you have huge wall switches, it may work for you.

Control switch cover

We'll pleased. It keeps the switch from being flipped inadvertently. This is especially useful when a toddler is roaming about. It's very good where you have a control switch that must stay on, so you don't need to tell folks repeatedly to leave it on.

Perfect switch security lock.

This was a great find. Allows you to keep a standard light switch locked in a desired location, (on or off). I used this for a public trash room. I wanted to keep he light on at all times for security reasons. However tenants kept turning it off. This was a cheap fix without rewiring the light or moving the switch, etc.

We have a switch in my husband's shop that needs to stay on and this worked perfectly. Easy to turn off when you want, but stops it from being accidentally turned off. Our electrician had never seen one of these and gave it the thumbs up too.

Not as shown.

Product arrived with a non-clear front and looks like a similar product but not the same product as show. Will still function but I got this one specifically because of how it looked. Not impressed.
